Oh, if they’re not paying your bills…
Tons of stuff has been written about RuPaul. Rivers of ink (or megabytes of info, if you will) have tried to get behind the wig, but the best bits always come from Mama Ru herself. I always enjoy RuPaul talking about his life and times because there's no intermediary when you are saying the things that you ARE indeed saying. All glam apart, I admire Ru because his is a success story like very few others. And that success didn’t come easy. What he says here about finding himself is something many people can relate to. We find ourselves through the most disparate channels. I was also surprised by this woman (I think she did a podcast with Kamala Harris, but I could be wrong) and her capable interviewing. She did her research and read RuPaul's book before sitting her pretty ass down. Many ‘podcasters’ could learn a thing or two from this. Well done. XOXO P.S. @RuPaul's memoir The House of Hidden Meanings is pretty cool. I recommend it.
