Oh, Carlos…!

No, this is not Bob’s Carlos, but he does give good advice!

Especially for someone like me, who is not great at gardening, his advice comes very handy, now that everybody and their uncle is doing some kind of gardening (be it in containers or in their front garden or backyard). So, are garden gnomes cool or not?

XOXO

  1. Big says,
Nope. No to gnomes. Just, no. LOL.
What grows best in a garden? "Weeds." I think I snorted my coffee!!

Some great advice. And gnomes can be cute, but I suggest using them sparingly.

Yep. There's such a thing as 'too many gnomes'.

  4. Howie would chew them to pieces in no time, so it's no to gnomes.

    1. That's very likely.
I don't know how people who have dogs do with garden ornaments, though...

  5. Cool vs Not Cool? Who the hell cares - if someone likes them, why shouldn't they have them? Personally I wouldn't want them in my garden, but why shouldn't someone else have them?

    1. Correct.
I took that pic at the manfriend's garden. And he likes them, so more power to him..

  6. I love his opening answer! But wow did I learn a lot! I like him. Now, I’m gonna plant me some weeds. No garden gnomes.

  7. I did landscape design for a few years before other interests hit. Great tips here. I learned a few things too. Maddie would love this video. Have you seen his post of his garden? Now I know why he is growing Datura in the garden. I can't with gnomes either.

Oh, you shirtless and working in the garden? I'd pay!
And Mads has the cutest garden. And the Usual Suspects?? Adorable.

  8. Some good advice, but I have put the kibosh on garden gnomes. My Carlos does most of the tending to houseplants and rose bushes, but I am a good pruner. We both have our strengths!

Garden gnomes are quite the choice. And I can see that distribution of chores with the plants.
