Oh, Jacen
Jacen Zhu is undeniably, a very attractive man. There's no way around it. Both Jimmy and Maddie can also confirm my recommendation regarding his oeuvre: get thee to the tubes and find him. You will not be disappointed. He's a great adult performer, enthusiastic, charismatic, almost athletic. And that body will inspire you to take things into your own hands.
But Jacen is much more than just that delicious disposition. He's called out the racism that lurks under the surface of porn productions and he's done so publicly, even though the repercussions may have costed him money. He called out Noir Male (a studio who flouted its clout of having Black performers) for only casting white passing men for some porn while casting only black men for some other porn. The same people were in charge of the casting, but black models were relegated to interracial scenes, while white-passing models were casted in more 'mainstream' porn. Even though it's called 'Noir Male' there's not enough Black/Black representation. Haven't they thought that Black men want to see themselves represented in porn not just as a tokenized, fetishized image but as well, Black men having sex with Black men?

Jacen raised some hell and spilled the tea. Hot. And of course, I was there for him. The idea that there's no racism in gay porn because they sprinkle some Black performers here and there is delusional at best and damaging at worst. Black performers should not have to raise hell to be well paid and hired based on their talent. Both Icon Male and Noir Male are owned by straight, white men. Using tokenized models to appear 'color blind' is insulting. Mr. Zhu went balls deep:
Models of color, I’m urging you to stop working with Noir Male. I understand we have less opportunities. However, we must force change and no longer be used as cash cows for misrepresentation. We deserve authentic inclusion and stand against being bullied into silence. We have to unite to bring about change in this industry. We must speak truth of our experiences within this industry. Hopefully minority owned studios could flourish, especially in this time of COVID. Until that time I hope the OF/JFF for these performers can fill that hole.

That first photo of him naked... OMGerg. On my knees. When I am doing pic searches for my blog? I have the most difficult time finding pics of black men and Asian men. The pickings are slim and I think that is just the tip of the iceberg. But go google a subject - like naked gay men drinking beer. 99 percent of what comes up is white as white. I applaud Jacen for calling it as it is. Things have to change. When I google naked gay men... I should see all people. There is room at the table for all - and it 's damn time everybody got served equal portions.
