Oh, Matteo...
I think @MatteoLane is one of those comics that sometimes flies under the radar but I think that we all should know more about him. Some of my girlfriends think he's hysterical and I do, too. I find his notes on life and men hilarious and really on point. Not to mention that he's quite attractive. I like that Super Mario Bros. mustache, btw.
For someone to do stand up comedy successfully, I need them to be entertaining, be good storytellers, be funny, do blue humour with style and to be relatable. And Matteo is all of those things. He's slightly self-deprecating and makes smart observations. He's biting sometimes but totally funny and he is bringing his experiences in the world to his convo with us. What's not to like?
So, if you have some time today, sit down and enjoy this little jewel of a set. And did you know he trained as a singer? Wait until the end...

Mateo had several shows at the Raven when he was really up and coming. He is a riot. Very friendly and welcoming to talk too. And at the pool he looked great in speedos for a small guy. And I'm here to say not everything is small on him either.
