Oh, Daniel

It's all about Daniel. First Daniel Craig got me and a whole lot of people all giggly in James Bond last year, now Daniel Radcliffe, of Harry Potter fame is getting people all winded up. Apparently, the 17-year-old Radcliffe is going to star in Eqqus, the play where a disturbed young man maims horses to exorcise his demons. In England, they're talking about the play. In America, of course, are talking about jailbait. Given that across the pond the age of consent is 16 (you can drink at 18 there) Daniel can disrobe without having to have his parents sign anything because officially, he can fuck whomever he wants at his age (almost 18) so taking his clothes off for a play seems almost demure. But behold the ugly face of America rearing its head (and mouth) so everybody is able to see the dark side of everything.

Leave it to idiot Americans to threaten to 'boycott any of his movies after this' -as if they were the only people going to theaters- because their 'nine year old holds Daniel as a role model'. Daniel is the role model or Potter? These people are so fucked up that they believe that the actor is the character. Poor delusional fucks. How ignorant and bigoted can you be? Not to mention sex-obsessed.
As for Daniel Radcliffe, I think he's going to be a very handsome man. We all got a glimpse of him in the last Potter movie, when the ghost of that girl dove in the water to help him with one of those chores he needed to do to win the wizard tournament. For a second I thought "he's going to be a very attractive man".

Now it looks like I was right. At least he's not all buffed up and looks like the young man he is. So we can wait a little and see what becomes of him. And let other young men and women have their own pin-up. Young people after all, are learning all about being attracted to others, no?
But the ugly Americans who sexualize everything and everybody are all up in arms about something and somebody who does not have anything to do with their country. And get their panties all bunched up predicting that all kinds of pervs (like themselves, right? It takes one to know one, after all) will pay to go see Daniel's weenie. Poor delusional fools. They are so obsessed with sex that they cannot see beyond their little weenies and coochies and understand that it is for a fucking play. And if I could go, I would, not to check Dan's dong, but to actually be able to see a play that has been famous for more than twenty years and whose movie adaptation I saw years ago.

Meanwhile, I hope Daniel gets a good kick-start with this play, gets to demonstrate that he's a good actor and moves on away from Harry Potter. After all, he needs a carrer we all have books to create our own Potter image and do not need to infantilize an actor forever in order to have an image of our hero. Oh, wait, but you would need intelligence, creativity and imagination to do that and the religion-and- sex obsessed Americans whose parents infuse with dogma will never be able to do that. Pity.
