Jerry Falwell is dead.
Media news talk about a 'history of heart challenges'. Heart challenged he was. A perfect example of fundamentalist bigotry and hatred. He was the American fundie dream.: made millions (that he lost) and was the head of a bigot-producing 'university' that has spawned generations of mini-bigots who should be knocking each other over the head to take his place.

I find that even in gay sites like Towleroad, people try to keep civil but all I say is 'good riddance'. One less bigot in the world. If only Pat Robertson were next.
But the next generation of idiot wingnuts is up and coming. There are groups in Facebook singing his praise (not a paragon of knowledge, that Facebook) and just wait for FAUX 'News' -that mouthpiece of the right- to start lionizing him.

Hopefully, by now he has learned that there are NO Pearly Gates through which he has to pass and that his name was NOT in any book covered by a dead animal's pelt. After a lifetime of hatred, he'll find out that what goes around comes around. May he not rest in peace. That would be most deserving. May he be working forever at some PFLAG afterlife office in a 24/7-looped shift manning the phones and receiving phone calls from proud parents of gay men ad women who call to gloat about the happy lives of their sons and daughters. And may that headset play in his ear only Musik Madonna and Kyle Minogue songs in between calls. For all eternity.
Let's wait for Pat Robertson to croak. Hopefully, he'll also die alone in his office.
