History was made.
Barack Obama was sworn into office after eight terrible years of Bushims. Of course, now the pressure is on Obama to save the nation from the moral and economic bankruptcy in which George W. left it immersed. But the fact is that this partially racist, slightly xenophobic and somehow ignorant country elected a bi-racial, intelligent and cosmopolitan leader. And that is a step in the right direction.
The challenges I cannot even imagine. The stakes are high. The time short. But I imagine that things can only get better. Good luck, Mr. President!

También son muchas las cosas positivas que veo en Obama; me parece un tipo inteligente, honesto y con "ganas" de hacer las cosas bien. Esperemos que todo le resulte.
ReplyDeleteNo me gusta eso sÃ, la esperanza exagerada de la gente, quienes lo ven más como un actor que como un presidente. La verdad sea dicha, Obama hasta ahora no ha mostrado nada, absolutamente nada. Pero creo que tiene todas las capacidades para poner a ese paÃs en el camino correcto nuevamente.
