Of course gay sex is magic. That's why organized religion is so freaked out by it. Organized religion is of course, patriarchal by principle and that's why we have been shamed into thinking that we are less than, that we are sinners, that we are defective.
Queer people need to reclaim this magic and it should come from ourselves. It cannot come from the outside. We are the ones who can get this magic back. The shame, the fear, the hiding, they all need to end. We live in puritanical societies where sex is seen as a means, not as a need. But sex IS a need. WE all have it.
So next time you're done having sex, ask yourself: was that magic? The answer always should be 'yes'.

I confess I still feel some shame for being a part of the LGBTQ community, it was ground into me that gay is bad and I don't think I will ever get all of it out. However I always felt that I'm in touch with both my masculine and feminine sides giving me a better understanding of men and women.
