When we think about porn, we usually only think about those impossibly beautiful men with the come hither looks that get us all hot and bothered (think Rafael Alencar, in my post below) but we never think about men who do not check all those little boxes we sometimes mentally go through when randomly clicking through blue movies on the internet. We never think about how other people see that. We are of course preoccupied with getting off, so there's little to no thought about anybody else but us. We only see people like ourselves.
It's part of our privilege. We, as non-disabled or non-differently-abled people, seldom think about people who lack the mobility and range of movement we have or the convenience of having five functional senses. We tend to forget there's people out there who do not enjoy the same advantages we do. Think about it: when was the last time you thought about how to better position yourself for sex? Were you able to do it immediately? Did you need help?
Those are the questions a gay man with let's say, cerebral palsy, would have to ask himself before he actually has sex. Disrobing, that for us is something we do almost unconsciously, for a man with a disability is a whole process. What about if we have braces? A wheelchair? But being disabled does not make a man less horny. Or sexy. Those are men like Ken, who are sexual and like sex. Not being physically able to do some things does not block all sex drive, as Davey Wavey demonstrates with this video.
So the next time you're thinking about having sexy times, stop for a second and think about all your advantages. And also think about how we forget that everybody needs love and attention and being and feeling sexy and desired. Sex is in the eye of the beholder, just like beauty. So next time, take a look. This is so encouraging. As I get older I know I can’t do the things I used to. And here is a young man with a handicap but can still realize his most ardent desires. And kudos to Davey Wavey for telling the story. His Himeros TV project tells some very interesting stories.

I had a friend who was disabled and we talked about becoming friends with benefits, I felt honored that he wanted to try something with me, however I started dating someone so it never went any further. I also loved the set of photos some artist did of soldiers who were wounded in the war but are still hot.
