So did you know that when you jerk off you’re indulging in SEVERAL sins at the same time? David Kyle Foster here is one of those wretched souls who claim to be ex-gay (sure, Jan) and that sees sin and damnation everywhere. Especially is any kind of pleasure is involved. 

One of the things I have against religion (and trust me, I have many) is that obsession with curtailing any kind of pleasure associated with sex. If you pay attention, anything and everything the wingnuts who belong to any of the xtofascists sects rant about first is sex. And pleasure. Let's not forget pleasure. Their attention to the minutiae involved in getting off is astounding. You’d think they obsess over these things with the kind of attention grandmothers devoted to needlepoint. And they do!

Their aim in life seems to be to eradicate any trace of pleasure from the face of the earth. Maybe because they cannot have it? You see, these ex-gays condemning themselves to a life of frustration and longing cannot be good for their mental health. Fuck, I think about dick several times a day and I enjoy myself thoroughly when I have sex! I cannot imagine the poor, bludgeoned psyche of one of these wretched ex-gay souls who deny themselves who they really desire for the possibility of pleasing a deity who will punish them no matter what.

There are hundreds of thousands of cases like poor David’s. Cases of people who twist themselves in a thousand knots to deny others the pleasures they are denying themselves. That’s what conversion therapy does to them. That’s why they want to inflict it in others.  So next time you realize that your state is going to ban conversion therapy, do yourself and others a favor and vote that shit down. Because they will keep trying to make conversion therapy a thing. All for the love of that god David mentions  so much.
