Sextortion

...Well, i actually setup a malware on the xxx videos (sex sites) web-site and do you know what, you visited this website to experience fun (you know what i mean). While you were watching video clips, your web browser initiated functioning as a Remote Desktop with a keylogger which provided me with accessibility to your display and webcam. Right after that, my software program gathered your complete contacts from your Messenger, Facebook, and emailaccount. and then i made a double-screen video. First part shows the video you were viewing (you have a nice taste : )), and 2nd part shows the recording of your cam, & its u.

This is part of an email I got and I was like... WHAT is going on?  It seemed somebody was trying to blackmail me! Now I have a sex tape online! How did that happen? OMG is my grandma going to see this? I panicked. I have never sexted anybody. The surprise left me breathless for a second.
So this perv had apparently set some malware up in some porn site (that text I’m quoting is verbatim what they sent me), no specifics, nothing. All they say is they got me and they have got information about me (they did have the password I used to have for that site) and that they had information about my contacts! What were they going to do?

Thing is, it’s a scam. Yeah, when I was on tumblr (it feels like years and it’s been just a few months) they had a huge breach and thousands of login info and passwords were pirated. I remember I noticed because I put my email in some site Forbes recommended and voila! There it was. Tumblr had fucked it up and my information (along with the information from thousands of people) had been stolen. So I changed all my passwords. Still, it was easy for whomever had that information to find my email address and send me that message. Yes, it seems they use your own email as a proxy and then they send you the ransom notice. It's a neat little game they play there.

So  for a moment forget all the holes in their story and their spelling mistakes (that person is either fourteen or an ESL learner) it seemed that somebody had used my cam while I was perusing some smut and had recorded me while I had some 'executive time' alone. And that can actually happen. Can you imagine? In this age and time, I would be more concerned about my email getting hacked (because they could spam my friends and family to death and steal my personal information and use it to scam other people) than worrying about an obviously pirated video of me thinking about some very specific people during a very intimate moment being distributed.

This is the age of camming, sexting and sharing all kinds of intimate details with the world. The fact that 'the fappening' happened is a clear indication that there's very little privacy online and our information can be stolen at any moment. And of course, there's people taking advantage of that. So, just in case, check your email addresses for leaks, change your passwords periodically and never, ever respond to one of these scam emails. But please, keep your 'executive time' up. Remember, if you don't love yourself...

XOXO

  1. "Remember, if you don't love yourself..." you won't have explosive fabulous fantastic mind-blowing orgasms! (ask me how I know this)

  2. What is this world coming to when it’s not even safe to find some me time? I guess I need to save up my energy for IRL interactions. But that could lead to some “enthusiastic” sessions with a special someone. Hmm so what is the problem here?

  4. Look, if all you want to do is jerk off while holding your dick in one hand and your computer on the other, lemme give you my Skype number, call me, and we'll make a night of it. But not too late. I like to go to bed early. Oh, and make sure there's porn playing behind you I can see clearly. I get bored easily.

  5. I don't do any porn site that requires a password. I will not pay for porn online. The best porn to me (shorts) has moved to Twitter.
But sweet Sixpence, you are two degrees of separation from my favorite porn blog located in Spain. HOT!

  6. I have an email address specifically for xxx stuff lol. I hate the way phones and computers are set up these days to permanently keep your personal information open allowing easy access. I clicked on a video clip the other day and instead of a video, it shut down my browser and opened up my phone, installed their number and possibly it would have started dialing if I didn't shut it down. There should be an emergency button to press that would freeze all activity in case something like that happens. A lot of people are telling me that they keep a piece of tape over the camera on their computer or phone. There were some young guys that were catfished around here and received threats of blackmail, luckily they went to the police right away.

  9. Stick a post-it note over the camera shutter on your computer. Cheap and effective security! Glad you didn't fall for that scam.

  10. Actually, you could do what I did. I have a Cyberpower Gaming PC and an very nice, and large Acer monitor... and no camera. Now my laptops have them... but lets face it, there's nothing erotic about me riding my bicycle, or me writing.

  11. @AnneMarie: I know, dear. I know. I keep practicing...
    @Bae: IRL is ALWAYS better....
@Bob: LOL I know, right? There's nothing safe online, dear. Nothing.
@Walter: LMAOOO you tease. But what are we gonna do if we both give in to our ADD?
@Jimmy: Same! And I was just mentioning that Twitter is a true cornucopia of smut. Who knew? And we like the same porn? Yay!
@Steve: OMG when they install those Trojans it's almost impossible to stop them. The popup windows can kill your browser. I have AdStop and still. The problem with apps that ask for permission to use your camera is that if they get hijacked so is your whole device.
@Maddie: And that's why we love you, dear! I agree with you, Walter is going to have to give us that number...
@Debra: I did whiteout over my laptop's cam. People have told me I'm paranoid but here's the example of not being paranoid enough..
@Dave: yeah, apparently the danger is mostly with the laptops. And who knows... you did say you need extra support when excercising. Or is it only when you run?

    XOXO
