Come on, Vogue!

I think that I have seldom seen a person who is more effortlessly beautiful that Pabllo Vittar, yeah, there's some makeup and some cool clothes involved but seriously. Pretty is pretty. It's a certain joie de vivre, a certain luminous quality and an effortless sex appeal that I have seldom seen in other people. And it translates perfectly well into media. The camera just loves Pabllo.

Would I KiKi with Pabllo? I don't think this is about sexual attraction. I would certainly would like to be friends with Pabllo and hang out around New York or Sao Paulo and try on cool clothes and learn to twerk and laugh at silly shit. The good energy is palpable, too. Pabllo is a natural performer and that shows. There' also a playful sexuality that is not threatening or overwhelming. I think what we see here is a very accurate embodiment of androgyny: neither completely male nor absolutely female (I don't see any boobs), so there's no real intention on creating a feminine illusion here. Pabllo is just Pabllo. Being by the fact of being is the best 'being' there is.

So take some time and enjoy a post-pride Pride post. Let Pabllo help you remember that Pride is not limited just to June.

XOXO

  1. I agree. Pride should be a way of life! As they say, “be proud and loud!”

  3. Interesting. Like Maddie, I've never heard of Pabllo. Thanks for this bit, there's so much 'out' there that we in Central PA have never heard of...

  4. @annemarie: that is correct! Especially in these times. Cannot take anything for granted.
@ bae: it should, because visibility matters.
@ Maddie: and impress Pabllo does!
@dave: oh, we need to keep our eyes open. There’s something new right around the corner.
