Guillaume et Arthur
I'm a sucker for beautiful men. I'm a sucker for beautiful men speaking French. I'm a sucker for beautiful men speaking French and in love with each other. I cannot resist a beautiful Frenchman in love with a Canadian who are so fucking talented.
Guillaume and Arthur went on La France A un Incroyable Talent and they killed it. They are dancers and acrobats and they showed a number against homophobia to Leonard Cohen's Halleluja (John, this is your clue to add this to your repertoire!). And did they do that. Seriously. When they dance, it's the best example of love and intimacy and how that makes for fantastic dancing. Goddess, these two men touching each other gave me all the feels.
The whole thing is in French, but you'll get the gist. The judges are incredibly supportive of the message and are blown away by the talent. France does have a problem with violence against LGBTQ people, too and that's recognized on air. We need more moments like this, when being with the man you love is taken as naturally as dance comes to these two awesome performers.
Ce combat est malheureusement encore obligatoire. Merci d’être là 🙏🙏 #LFAUIT pic.twitter.com/11IyuRnE4G— Eric Antoine (@eric_antoine) November 19, 2019
Go ahead, watch and then we'll talk.

You see something like that and it's hard to fathom how people don't "get" being gay. It's the same love as anyone else, except the players are the same gender.
ReplyDeleteI know! Same love. But you know the bigots will always fixate on the Adam and Eve fallacy. Their loss.

There are also Adam & Steve!
DeleteI don't understand a word anyone said. But I don't have to. I understand every gesture, every look, and every touch Guillaume gives Arthur throughout the entire video. And in every single one of those, I recognize the look, the touch, and the feeling I've looked- and yearned for all my life. I know now that what I've wanted all my life exists in this world. [tears!]
ReplyDeleteAwww *hugs Walter*
DeleteReally one doesn't even have to speak French to really notice the connection. It's so pure and obvious one doesn't need to understand every word.
XOXO
It's a YES from me!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. They're talented, but it's the way they use that talent that counts.

Just beautiful! I love to see men dancing together. In the video, they explain tht Arthur is from Paris and Guillaume is from Montreal. They met as students in Montreal.
ReplyDeleteMe too! I think it's fantastic and we need to see men dancing more. And I think that's true about Guillaume being from Montreal. My French is rusty!

I just like men. And french men that are limber rate even higher.
ReplyDeleteHaha. Absolutely, Maddie. Absolutely.

That is an incredible piece. You can feel the passion that they have. And if what they do on stage is any indication of their personal time...DAMN!
ReplyDeleteXOXO 👨❤️💋👨
Their connection is so obvious and natural that one cannot help but notice. Yep, that's a very hot couple.

FABU! bodies in motion!
ReplyDeleteIt's mesmerizing. Their movements are so fluid I cannot imagine the level of discipline and the time spent rehearsing. Very talented.
