Resolute
I could write a list of the things I promise I am going to do in 2020, but to tell you the truth, I will probably forget all about them by the end of January. That's the way things usually go with me this time of the year. We promise ourselves a number of things and yet...
So, no resolutions this year? Probably I will just try to be a better person. That should cover it all. Don't you think?
And how's 2020 going?
XOXO
P.S. Missed you!
I was leading a WW workshop yesterday and someone brought up the idea of micro resolutions. You don’t create sweeping change for yourself but build upon small changes that are doable. Not that I’ll follow that track, of course. I just want to be the best me that I can be. And hopefully that is a kind, compassionate and giving me.
ReplyDeleteSo welcome back, babe. You are definitely missed.
XOXO 👨❤️💋👨
Aww Bae, that's so nice! And so wise! It's actually very sensible and it would create a sense of achievement that we may not get from sweeping resolutions that are too... overwhelming?

love your wisdom
ReplyDeleteThanks! And I think it's more a reality check. I have felt frustrated before because I find myself unable to accomplish what I promised myself I'd do. Never again.

hey darling, good to have you back. being a better person is hard these days. especially when you are constantly confronted with MAGAts.
ReplyDeleteHey you! Glad to be back! And you know what? It is true. That confrontation with the stupid masses is the one glitch that tests my patience to the limit!

We are waiting to hear of your adventures!
ReplyDeleteHahaha. Yes!
DeleteI have to write about it. It was nice and kind of uneventful, but met some interesting people.

2020 is off to a challenging start, I have to remind myself it is not what happens, but how I react to it that matters, or the revenge that I will extract.
ReplyDeleteThat is so true! We are all under some kind of pressure and how we react is very important. That's somethings I need to practice more: how I react to situations is what matters. Well, that and remembering that revenge is better served cold. LOL

We should all, ALL, try to be better. Wouldn't that be great?
ReplyDeleteHappy to see you again!
It would indeed be great!
DeleteAnd to tell you the truth, I'm happy to be back!
XOXO
Welcome back sexy.
ReplyDeleteAww thnx, Jimmy!

Very good to have you back. I hope you had an excellent rest. No resolutions, but did start a diet to lose those few (who am I kidding?) pounds found over the holidays. So far, so good. So far, 2020 has been okay. Got to meet Pete Buttigieg - nice guy, more relaxed and personable than when he's being interviewed or on the debate stage.
ReplyDeleteHahaha. Yes! I am going to start watching what I eat. Since Xmas I have been pigging out on things I don't usually eat. And I can't believe you met Pete! Bet it was a trip. He does have that air about him. I hope he does well in this next debate. They've been attacking him, which means they do consider him a contender.

Well I'm already perfect, what more do you want from me?
ReplyDeleteOh, Steven. If I told you what I want from you...
DeleteLOL
XOXO
you seem rather sweet to me xx
ReplyDeleteAww. Thnx, dearheart!

Resolutions are too easily broken, I never make them
ReplyDeleteI know, right? I have for years tried to keep them to avail. I should know better.
