A list of charities i strongly urge you to look into and donate. I’ve Seen my TL is flooded with disgusting videos of police brutality and can only stress how these protestors deserve our support for standing their ground and speak the truth. pic.twitter.com/0GwoH6K9LJ— C (@GreyColton) May 31, 2020
You know that when porn stars appear to be more attuned to the racial inequities in this country than actual Hollywood celebrities, the shit has indeed hit the fan. This whole situation that started with the murder of George Floyd by police in Minneapolis has now evolved into a country-wide, around-the-world-phenomenon. But there has been a lack of involvement from high profile personalities that I find actually quite telling.
I just watched this video 3 times in a row. Listen to these powerful words. #BlackLivesMatter— Austin (@AustinWilde) May 29, 2020

The idea that people involved in porn are as a matter of fact much more 'woke' than people in 'legit' acting and involved in public life is quite illuminating and from my point of view, not surprising at all. After all, I like to read a porn actor's tweets for their content. And the dick. But I like it when they actually let us see the people behind the erotica.
HERES A HANDY TOOL FOR GETTING INVOLVED AT EVERY LEVEL. WE HAVE SEEN OVER AND OVER THAT THE POLICE PROTECT PRIVILEGE AND POWER, NOT PEOPLE. SUPPORT BLACK LIVES WITH YOUR TIME AND YOUR BODIES AND YOUR WALLETS.https://t.co/dDzR06lFUV— TY MITCHELL: PROBOTTOM (@TyMitchellXXX) June 1, 2020
Some porn performers have been using their (sometimes quite substantial) platforms to speak out against police brutality, race inequality and activism. And I'm here for it. Because people usually dismiss porn actors as a dick or an ass and think nothing of who they are in 'real' life. And that's their bad. The fact that they jerk off and cum while watching these men and don't think of them as human beings is the basis of what racism is: denying the humanity of another person.

When gay porn stars are more aware of the dangerous political moment we are living than other people in much more influential and powerful positions in the community, I had to stop and listen. It is such a shame that more mainstream people are so obsessed with themselves that they went right back to their selfies and lives after the Tuesday blackout, that I decided to make a post just highlighting how porn stars are chronicling this shitshow, brought to you by institutionalized racism, police brutality, abuse of power and the corruption of IMPOTUS 45. It's very telling.
Getting arrested with @michael_delray for peaceful protesting. Slipping handcuffs is my specialty though 😉 pic.twitter.com/GFvAy8tfVI— Dante Colle (INC.) (@Dante_Colle) June 2, 2020
And what's the tea when people in the gay porn community call the bullshit whitewashing some gay porn studios are putting out? Right now everybody is going and sounding all ally-like but some people are not having it. And coming up with the receipts:SO YOU KNOW THEY FOLLOW US. THEYRE AFRAID OF UNARMED PEACEFUL PROTESTS.— Angel Rivera (@AngelRiveraXXX) June 1, 2020
THIS IS JUST A JOB TO THEM. pic.twitter.com/OwhOCuVuf0
4 / I want all porn studios to examine their own racism, not defend it, not distort is, but reflect on it. After that, they can take action to change. Only then, can they justly say they are working in solidarity with black communities. pic.twitter.com/55DoQUpFuT— Race Cooper (@RaceCooper4Real) June 3, 2020
So next time you lay back and whip it out to your favorite adult performer, think of the man behind that beautiful body. Think about the way the world affects him. It may be the exact same way this world is affecting you. Because at the end of the day, you're both just men (and this includes mankind, darling not just people with dicks). You can be woke and horny at the same time.

First and foremost, I’d like to acknowledge and emphasize that, BLACK LIVES MATTER. And what happened to George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and countless others before them is unacceptable. If you're good, next time I'll post their nudes. Meanwhile, remember, #BLACKLIVESMATTER.
XOXO
There has been some thought that the LGBTQ+ community has much in common with the #BLACKLIVESMATTER movement because of the discrimination both communities have experienced. As a white cis bisexual man, I cannot say that I’ve lived that life. But I do know it exists. And I’m disgusted by it. And it is my responsibility to call it out in all of its forms. I can do better and I will do better. This shit must stop here and now.

Well, yes. Of course there's a lot of Black people who think that's a stretch, but I can see the commonalities. And being an ally is as important as being anti-racist, bae. We don't have to be Black to understand the struggle.

I agree. Pretty sad that drag queens and porn stars are doing this more than Hollywood. They have all been as us less on tits on a bull. I could be wrong about even Streisand who grates my nerves beyond belief and seems to have opinions on everything is quite...or even Fonda.
ReplyDeleteNow im off to treat myself to some Ty Mitchell one of my favorites...take some matters in hand so to speak.
But Drag Queens have always been Punk Rock. Same with porn stars. I think big names will eventually say something. I hope even Babs.
DeleteOhh Ty Mitchell! Yes.

A revealing post about those who reveal all!
ReplyDeleteIndeed!
DeleteFunny how those who don't have anything to hide uncover truths.

Yeah, it's interesting that Hollywood seems to be rather silent.
ReplyDeleteHollywood remains silent because $ there is speaking
DeleteIt's their livelihood. They're directed by an army of handlers and PR managers. It's a business.

Six!,.....Check out "QNews.com June 4,2020 (yesterday). Biaggi interview here in Wilton Manors.
ReplyDeleteOMG Is he running for office? Holy shit.
DeleteThat's huge.

I am glad that they are being vocal, active and sharing their voices to this very important topic. I also think that they are comfortable in their skin and not ashamed of what they are doing so they aren't restrained in expressing how they feel. I think the Hollywood types are more worried about their image and how it might affect their career so they are not as loud. It's a shame because this isn't a time to be silent.
ReplyDeleteWell, the thing is that most people think gay porn stars only think about shooting meth and the gym. It's refreshing to see them be so politically active and well, woke.
DeleteBut you are right. They don't have the restrictions a Hollywood type would have, given that they are less mainstream and do not have contracts to protect.
Yes, this is not a time to be silent. Nope.
XOXO
I only come back to this post to ask if you by chance saw that picture from the protest I took on Saturday. How's this? A guy was holding a sign that said Don't open you mouth for black 🍆 and shut for black issues!!!!!! I thought it was priceless!!!!!! I thought of you right away.
