I am always curious about the state of porn. Especially during this pandemic, porn has become one of my best friends. A fuck buddy of sorts, if you want. Porn is always there when I need it and it has given me some pretty cool moments. But because I'm a fucking geek, when I'm not touching myself while watching very handsome men fuck each other, I often wonder what is it that makes porn tick. Usually, we only see the glossy surface, the intimate close up takes, the washboard abs, the stamina, the muscles. There's sweat and cum and a lot of work involved in the production of these little wonders of erotica. A lot of smoke and mirrors, too. And even though I rather enjoy the Just For Fans and guerrilla Gonzo style that porn has taken during the last years, I can still appreciate studio porn and its elaborate production values.
And I was wondering, how is that porn represented? Who are the men who work for (probably long and exhausting) hours to give us the tingle to mingle? I've always thought that porn stars are just like you and I, only more handsome, in much better physical shape and most probably with a much better sex life. So I dove into the whole porn awards topic and came up with this: a partial list of the performers nominated for the 2020 Str8UpGayPorn awards:

I have my favorite, of course, but I'd like to know YOUR opinion. I don't watch commercial porn - except for vintage stuff. I love amateur stuff. It's raw and relatable and the men are flawed and interesting. It's like reality TV, but porn! These guys... I love to include them in photo layouts for my blog, but otherwise they leave me cold. But then I find all porn frustrating... I'm like, why settle for representations of something you could be doing yourself?

I'm with @uptonking on this one: no more commercial porn for me. It's costs more than I'd like to pay for when more interesting videos, folk, and scenes are to be found free on Twitter or XTube. What I like best about Twitter porn is the 2 minute limit on videos. For short attention spans, it gets me off and ready to watch the next one pronto. And the models are "real." No huge bulging muscles or penii (from no on, the plural for penis is penni!) but actual men having fun and sex with other normal looking men!! And it's free! Like me!

I wonder if the prevalence of younger, lithe men is due to demand by a younger public? Actually 'none of the above.' Too many of them look like they're just out of puberty, Diego's really short, and Dante?
