Madison Cawthorn. By now most everybody in America has heard about Madison Cawthorn. He's also popped here and there in many a comment I've read on blogger. So why not talk about him?  Dear Madison literally represents the RepubliQAnons of today: he lies, cheats and steals. All while looking like the poster child for a Neo Nazi website and providing sound bites for Fox News. Darling, isn't he?

Madison got into politics using pity and every trick in the GQP book. Yep, the young, handsome Mr. Hawthorn is in a wheelchair and he has milked that fact so efficiently that it's got him in Congress. He conned his way into government lying about how he got into that wheelchair (while throwing his 'friend', who actually saved his traitorous ass, under the bus) and lying about the things he's allegedly done while in that wheelchair. Apparently, he lied about training for the 2020 Paragames:

"In numerous Instagram posts in 2017-2019, which remain live as of this writing, Cawthorn claimed he was training for the Paralympics. One of the posts inexplicably includes the hashtag #whokilledjfk.

"I have an opportunity to represent my entire country at the Olympics in 2020," he posted in September 2018. A month later, he captioned another post, "This is my first year, I train in a garage, and I am going to beat you like a drum in Tokyo."

LIES. All lies. Blatant. Boldfaced.

Oh, he also lied about his going to the Naval Academy (he was rejected before his accident in 2014) and  has lied about about his business acumen:

 Per the Asheville Citizen-Times, Cawthorn's business acumen has essentially been limited to his investment and holdings firm SPQR LLC (an acronym that just so happens has become a shibboleth for white nationalist gangs). Only, SPQR LLC was created in 2019, and Cawthorn is the sole employee.

Oh, his past as a bully and his sexually harassing classmates has also come out, of course:

“Cawthorn’s time at PHC was marked by gross misconduct toward our female peers, public misrepresentation of his past, disorderly conduct that was against the school’s honor code, and self-admitted academic failings.”

The letter said Cawthorn frequently asked female students to join him on “joy rides” in his sporty Dodge Challenger. He would take the women “to secluded areas, lock the doors, and proceed to make unwanted sexual advances,” it said. 

Oh, he's also a Hitler enthusiast with the corresponding Delusions of Adequacy, as a commenter on Jezebel called him. Not strange in a White Supremacist, of course. It's all about White Grievance, for the GQP.

He's the golden boy of White Nationalism, which is now basically the platform of the RepubliQAnon party. He's a lying, cheating, abusive bully. And you thought that being an ignorant, inflammatory cunt was limited to Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert? No, dearie. There's boys in politics playing the lying, cheating and scheming bitch, too! Looking at him reminds me that scene in The Sound of Music when the beautiful blond boy starts singing and suddenly there's a choir of brownshirts singing with him. That scene has always sent chills down my spine. And now there's a Rolfe in Congress. 

And you thought you couldn't or shouldn't run for office. Maybe that's because the bar for the Dems is so, so much higher than for Repugs. Also, Voting. It has consequences.
