Did you know that George Floyd's girlfriend was Daunte Wright's teacher? Can you grasp the collective trauma of systemic racism? This is the reality of Black people in America. I have been telling people this: think about Officer Kim Potter pulling Daunte Wright over, walking to the window, telling him there's no real trouble, but he has too many air fresheners and could get a ticket, but she won't give him one, she'll just ask him to take them down so he doesn't get a ticket.
