You can read their stories here: PEOPLE.

Uncle Joe has proposed gun reform, but you know the Repugs, starting with Moscow Mitch, won't let him have anything done. The Repug-backed NRA is a terrorist organization that needs to be vanquished...

XOXO

P.S. Wanna do something? Can spare a dime?
Here's 9 Non-profits (take that, NRA) making progress towards gun control.
Here's 6 organizations you can support to promote gun control.

  1. “The only thing that can stop a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy with a gun.” That’s total bullshit. Texas now allows anyone who wants a gun to have one. No background checks, no training. That’s fucking crazy. I need to have training and be licensed to drive a car. We need to find a way to get common sense gun laws on a FEDERAL level passed. No we’re not coming for your guns. We want to make sure you don’t kill your kids.

    1. My questions are: 1. How do you know the difference between a bad guy with a gun from a good guy with a gun? 2. How many people have to die to determine which is which?

    2. Yeah, that's the NRA response and the Ammosexual's response to having abackground check system for selling those repetition rifles. It's more difficult to become a real state agent.

  2. They will never change. For that to happen they would need to admit they were wrong and they will never do that, no matter how many people die.

    1. Never.
I agree. They'll never admit they're wrong. Also, there's a lot of money involved.

  3. That was 5 years ago, though. And, in October, it will be 5 years since 58 were killed and more than 400 wounded at a concert here. The bullshit flows from the Repugs' mouths so easily.
    All they understand is money.
Here's my deal about people being allowed to carry: How can you tell the good guy with a gun from a b ad guy with a gun? You can't. Not until the shooting begins and I have no plans to patronize that establishment to find out. I see someone with a gun - I leave. When I get the opportunity, I will call the place to tell them why I left uneaten food on the table, or a cart full of groceries, etc., and the bill unpaid. XOXO

    1. That is true.
I keep forgetting it was 2016. And you are right. The Repugs only understand money. And there's a lot of money to be had lobbying for guns in America.
And the problem is that when we see the guy brandishing the gun, it may be too late to do anything.

  4. I am still shocked that it's been that long. It still seems so fresh.
Not so shocked that NOTHING has been dome about gun violence, because if you can watch CHILDREN be murdered and do nothing, what's a handful of queers being gunned down?
But thanks for the anti-GUNNUT links.

    1. Oh, I cannot keep track either.
It's so... present? Now every Pride I remember how everything went from joy to death.
And nothing's gonna change. They didn't budge when children were killed. That's when I knew there was nothing to do.
And you're welcome! I threw some money their way.

  5. Ya, Whkattk is correct. Five years. I always think about the power of The Pride Center (at Equality Park) and how they gathered a couple thousand LGBTs in two hours to calm everyone down. The police presence was HUGE!

    1. I still remember it as if were yesterday.
So much tragedy. So many young lives lost.
And the ammosexuals still insist they need repetition rifles.

  6. A tragedy then and a tragedy now.

    1. Agreed.
And people need to remember it. Because people forget too easily.

  7. You're on top of this. I VOTE FOR YOU! Now, get on up on one of those podium things and show the world what the good lord gave ya!

In AMERICA a gun is just a thing that says YOU BELONG. Sigh.

Well, count me out. Not my kind of club.

    1. Hahaha I'm constantly on my soapbox, Upton.
And everybody talks to me about this thing Americans do with their guns. Friends who live in other parts of the world are constantly surprised about how paranoid Americans are when it comes to having to have a weapon and then use it to kill dozens of people.

  8. I have already told you that in Italy everything is different, but even here there are misfortunes due to weapons. A few days ago, a depressed 35-year-old man killed two children and an old man. Last October his father, who had a gun legally, died. When he died, no one verified that this gun was in his house, so his son could kill.
