On Trans Joy
I think it's time to talk about Trans Joy. I am always incensed by the mistreatment of Trans folks so I decided to post something that talked about the joys they experience, too. Because of course I had to, right? The relentless stream of bad news concerning Trans people usually gets to me.
I find it very strange that some people do not know any LGBTQ people. At all. Or at least they think they don't know any. Probably because they are deeply closeted. It's 2022 and in some parts of the country it's still verboten to talk about sexual orientation, let alone sexual identity. But we're everywhere. I've also realized that transphobes and TERFS usually do not know any Trans people. At all. All they go by is third-person accounts and sensationalized events. The better to hate what they don't know, right? So I decided to let the dolls speak for themselves, because Trans voices need to be heard.
Enjoy!

Five beautiful women with a very important message. Just imagine if a comet passed the earth and suddenly everyone on the planet was living their true self. I suspect the world would be amazed at the diversity that suddenly appeared...and that is actually here right now.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't that be amazing!
DeleteAnd that's what I don't understand! Somebody living THEIR true life and others just get pressed. Fucking people are horrible.
DeleteWhat we see here are people living their best life. And we should be happy for them!
XOXO
So many people not knowing LGBTQ people = denial.
ReplyDeleteWell, imagine a queer boy living in Central PA: he'll get beaten up for wearing nice designer trousers cause people are ignorant fucks. He'll never come out until he moves to Pittsburgh or Philadelphia.

ReplyDeleteThe thing that caught my attention was how often I heard that there really isn’t a destination on their journey. Like all of us they are constantly evolving…go figure they’re normal people with problems, hopes, dreams, and aspirations. Yes, they may have problems specific to their transition, but that does not define them. These are some very powerful, beautiful women.
XOXO 👨🏼❤️💋👨🏽
There is no destination because it IS a journey. Like, I don't have a destination, I'm just living my life...
DeleteAnd being Trans does not define anybody, like being blond does not define anybody. I've been a blond. And a redhead. I'm still me.
XOXO
I cannot believe that most people don't know an LGBTQ+ person these days, unless they choose not to know them.
ReplyDeleteAh!
DeleteBINGO! They CHOOSE not to know them. Because then they will have to face their bias and tell that person they hate them just because. It does not agree with their fantasy world.
XOXO
Everyone should know the joy of becoming their own true self!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!
DeleteThe fuck does people have to say about somebody else's life? What damage are they causing to anybody by being ... themselves?
XOXO
Big says,
ReplyDeleteTransphobes and TERFs ***also*** don't ***think*** they know any. If people were allowed to be themselves withut fear, methinks those phobic folks would be mighty, mighty surprised. XOXO
They prefer NOT to know anybody who's Trans because then they would have to hate a person they know. It's easier to hate someone we cannot relate to, someone who is a caricature.
DeleteTERFS and Transphobes make me sick.
XOXO
And luckily for drag queens....many find drag the perfect vehicle to feel their way to becoming trans. Queens might scrap....but when it comes down to it....the drag community is a safe haven and filled with protectors. It's a place to have fun and discover their path. Some don't have this safe luxury.
ReplyDeleteDrag is the gateway state.
DeleteHow many people have found their true gender by allowing themselves to LIVE it? The Drag community has always been a safe haven for Trans women. That's another reason why conservatives hate Drag artists...

Ummm there are no degrees of separation (like the six between everyone at Kevin Bacon). No degrees between a straight person or gay. They know us. The see us. Some of us cash them out in the grocery stores, deliver their mail, take their temperatures, lecture them in classrooms, file their taxes, diagnose their diseases, serve their meals, make them laugh via sit-coms, smile when they pass us on the sidewalk...get my point?
ReplyDeleteThat's true!
DeleteBut people keep creating these little boxes and categories in which anybody who is not like THEM is a freak. Queer and Trans people are EVERYWHERE. They just want to make us disappear.
XOXO
Odd you should pick this topic today. So, I have a nephew who used to be my niece. I love them very much... but - they are kind of a judgmental prick. I lost sleep last night trying to reconcile it. My niece was as sweet as the day is long... empathetic, kind - like her mother. The nephew? OMG. What a dick. Judgmental - like his mother! They have said some things recently that have stuck in my craw. I want to let it go. I want to write it off as male hormones... but I think this may be who they've become. I am so angry about it. I miss the sweetness. I don't like the meanness. And it's very passive aggressive. So... from now on I am going to call them on it. I support them being who they want to be... they little fucker needs to return the favor. - Kizzes. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.
ReplyDeleteOh, I assure you hormones DO have to do with it.
DeleteI have friends who have transitioned and they ARE other person. Really. That also tells you why so many men are absolute dicks.
And I think you should call them on the fuckery. You'd do it with any nephew or niece, right?
