Dear Repugs people:

If you worked to ban teaching about racism in schools, then you are definitely not allowed to mention, post or talk about Dr. Martin Luther King. He's definitely too 'woke' for you.

Just go back to talking about gas stoves or Drag Story Hour grooming.

Happy Martin Luther King Day.

XOXO

P.S. Also, let's not forget:

    Big says,
Nice tribute. Today, I chose to honor Brendan Fraser instead, who is bravely emerging from the pain and darkness of sexual assault. He's a beacon of light to those who know that darkness first hand. XOXO

  3. You do know that when the do mention Martin Luther King, it's only because they hope to fool people of color into believing the GOP is not a white supremacist organization. Have a good day.

    HuntleyBiGuy:
Come, come now. Sean Hannity on faux news proudly proclaimed that the repugs are a diverse party (in a room full of old, white, male representatives).

We all know not enough progress has been made. As they say, we have miles to go before we sleep.

  5. Rustin was a genius of civil rights planning and I hope that some day he will get the recognition he so well deserves. As for the repugs, well they are very diverse, some have white hair, some have darker hair, some have thinning hair and some have no hair at all.

  6. Yes, the central role and importance of Bayard Rustin are both still under-recognized.

  7. And I'm so happy I could kiss you, for spelling out Martin Luther King's name. As Dave said, the man deserves not to have his name abbreviated. Anything abbreviated drives me insane. A shame that Bayard Rustin also doesn't get more recognition. The last several years, the name left me. Thanks for posting about him today.

  8. Knew nothing about Bayard Rustin... a new gay hero! Why... we should have a museum! :) Happy MLK. My company gave us the day off. So... cool. Unfortunately we have to go back tomorrow. Kizzes.

  9. Bayard Rustin is worth of a wiki bio here and an interesting tribute here
