I'll let @trixiemattel, who is an expert, talk about this issue.

XOXO

P.S. DRAG ISN'T DANGEROUS. Get your tix 'cause it's gonna GATHER.

P.P.S: for those who think this has been overblown, I have three words for you: Roe VS Wade

She’s right on the money. This may impact the “national” queens a bit, but it’s the local queens and those who express themselves as other genders who will be swept up in this movement. And they’re the ones who don’t have the resources to defend themselves.

As someone who went to “Jesus classes” I find these laws to be abhorrent and they will not stop here. They will continue to steamroll over every right that has been hard won.

    1. And it is what many people won't see!
The local queens and the BIPOC gender non conforming an Trans people are going to suffer because the laws are very vague.
And of course they're abhorrent. And of course they'll continue to drop.

  2. Big says,
It's getting crazy. That's an understatement. Some of the longest-running and biggest moneymaking shows here were DRAG shows. Lawdy! the Silver Slipper and "Boylesque"? Gurl, please! Harrah's and "Legends In Concert"...and no, it sure as hell wasn't women doing all those Cher and Madonna and Babs impersonations. And let's not forget about Jim Bailey - headliner and I do mean headliner - at The Dunes. All world famous. So, I fear Trixie is right: It's the small, local shows and queens that will suffer. XOXO
P.S. The onliest thing I do not like about Trixie: The eyes are so dark you can't tell she has any. xoxo

    1. Trixie and you right....all the more reason to support the local and city drag queen shows first...the grass roots queens and the city girls are the ones that will raise hell and be visible in protest. Cythina Lee Fontaine already had a fabulous and huge protest event. She ain't playing.

Jim Baily= a true class act and legend!!!! One of the best.

    2. The repugs did not care about Drag until... NOW.
It's a talking point, but also it's something they can hate. And they're using the same old 'think of the children'. Stupid people will fall for that every time.
Maddie is right. We need to support the Queens locally

I'm googling Jim Baily right now. I need to continue my education!!

    1. What he says is right.
The make up is very... Trixie. He's also monetized it. He's got a makeup line, so yeah.

  5. Here here!!!! And we need more well established and well-known queens to step up and do more. Jadia Essence Hall said it best "Look over there..." the tactic used for the conservatives to distract everyone from the real issues that need addressing. So lets go after drag queens and trans.

Have I mentioned I'm glad to be back in the States?!?!?

    1. Maddie!
Welcome back, gurl! Have missed you.
And it's totally the 'look over there!' strategy and the rubes are lapping it up. But conservatives are serious about restricting other people's liberties. There ARE real issues at play here.

  6. Shiny objects distract people with low I.Q.s and distract from the crimes of the Repulsivecans. This is one they can hurl our direction. We have guns, the NRA and mass shooting to hurl theirs. In the end? It all makes me wanna hurl. Kizzes.
