Li Zandong

@Li_Zandong

I was last week years old when I learned through @Debra that you can paint with watercolor pencils: you use the pencil and then just add water. Witchcraft!! I love that idea. I also know that trying to paint with watercolors is NOT easy. I think I did a project in high school with watercolors and it was an unmitigated disaster.

That's why I'm so terribly jealous of anybody who can actually paint with watercolors. Maybe that's why @Li_Zandong's art resonated with me. Also, I'd love to have some of his art at home. I think they're small format, though...

Well, that and the fact that I love watching at naked men.

This one brings back memories.

Now, go ahead and tell me Maddie didn't pose for this one. Go ahead...

This is so hawt!

This one really reminds me of someone..

So, if you are on Insta (and like his art) go ahead and give @Zandong_Li a follow... You won't regret it.

XOXO

P.S he's also on @imginn

  1. Big says,
Rather rudimentary, but there's something about his work that's enticing. Nice stuff! Thanks! XOXO

    1. OMG I wish I could paint that rudimentarily!
I think the artwork is very sensual, very tactile...

  2. The cowboy one's interesting, but not something I'd spend money on.

    1. I would.
I would pay to have either two small ones or a poster-size one in my bedroom. Yes.

  3. Watercolour is one of the most difficult media to master, it's true. I don't know if I ever will, but at least I have the frustration of trying, LOL. This artist has a nice watercolour technique.

    1. THANK YOU!
I was thinking when you wrote about it: 'that looks difficult'. And I trust your assessment of his technique, of course...

I totally wish I had an artistic talent. I do not have any, alas. Hence this blog..

  5. Hmmmmmmm what makes you think I didn't post for that one? And I really enjoyed that last one. And the one that brings back fond memories for you? So I'm to assume by that picture that you like to ride on top?

    *makes mental note*

I hope you have a good weekend!

    1. PS, I can remember I tried to paint with watercolors once when I was in art school. We had to do room interior renderings in watercolors. I agree with Debs, they are a bitch.

    2. Hahaha
      What? That BADONKADONK, dear.
And I do like to ride on top. The better to squeeze you. And I can imagine people having to go through watercolor when they are in art school. Dear lord!

  6. Those are so amazing! I wish I could even draw. I have recently started using adult coloring books. And it is relaxing!! And I love how they turn out!

    1. I loved them, too!
I also wish I could draw. Some people are able to do freehand so... easily? I can barely draw stick men!
And coloring books are AMAZING. I got into them during the pandemic and absolutely recommend them. Totally soothing.
