ReplyDeleteFirst off Patrick turns me off with his commercials for all of his designers, though his design was very conservative and clean.
I do like Laura’s design, it’s clean and functional. I like her color palette and the way she brought the room together.
Xavier’s was quite the Frankenstein room. I like the way he imagined the competing tastes and how it all worked out, but not really my cup of tea.
So for me it would be fuck Xavier (literally), marry Laura, and kill Patrick. My guess is that you went with Xavier because it is so dramatically different.

ReplyDeleteNone of them created anything truly practical. It has to be temporary. But, if I ignore that fact, well, Xavier's is way too disparate. Plus, covering the heat/ac? Come on, I know we discarded "practical" but we need to control room temp. Patrick did the same thing - covered the entire unit. But it was smart to put the desks at the window. Laura has the cleanest, lightest look and makes a small space appear larger. So, fuck Patrick, kill Xavier, and marry Laura.
If I must hazard a guess on your pick: Patrick - for wanting the students to open their eyes to a world view.

My God! First of all I like to know what student has a budget for all this although I realize this is just for fun. But I can't lie I actually liked Laura's design, very mid-century. I may marry her, but no one's getting fucked ...just kill the other two.These spaces are way too small to accommodate all that heaviness. Cripes... I'd go stir crazy!!!!
