The Normal Police

I like erotica (books, videos) and I guess it's because I am a visual person. I also guess many men find erotic images titillating for the same reason. We would not have porn if that were not the case, right? Not that women do not like erotica (much of the M/M erotica I read is actually written by women!) but from my experience, it's mostly men who enjoy their porn and have it.

But really, how much porn is too much porn? Would that be a question worth asking? Some people watch a few minutes of porn a day and they're done. Some people watch porn once in a while and they're done. Some people watch porn several times a day and they're done. Not to mention that people go on Instagram, or Twitter or Snapchat or whichever social media they prefer, and then there's something for them to get.. inspired. Yes, Virginia, those hunks you see in your feed on Insta are erotica.

Sex is part of who we are, even if we're Ace, so where do you draw the line? I just think that some people like porn more and watch more porn than others. We cannot really tell what is 'normal' when it comes to sex, either. Some people masturbate once a week. Some people do it once a day. Some people have sex once a day, some people do not have sex at all. Some people enjoy their porn. Some people do not like it. So what is normal?

I guess that as long as it does not interfere with your daily life, anything can be 'normal'. So there's the answer to that question, right?
