Flirt for ‘free’
Oh, hi.
Welcome to a ton of dick. And I don't kid you when I say 'a ton', because Flirt for Free has a ton of naked men selling what you're buying. And the key word here is 'selling'. This post came to be because Jon wrote in his blog that when he called some men who work in sites just like Flirt for Free some bristled because he called them 'sex workers'. So let's see what a sex worker is, according to wiki:
A sex worker is a person who provides sex work, either on a regular or occasional basis.[1] The term is used in reference to those who work in all areas of the sex industry.
@wikipediaSo the men who work at Flirt for Free would indeed be sex workers, right? If we take into account that they are selling sex (not intercourse, mind you) and that the nature of their work is sexual per se, they therefore be... sex workers. They are literally selling... sex. They purposefully arouse themselves and arouse those watching them with a view to a climax in exchange for... money. That's sex work. And I said as much in Jon's comment section:
Oh, they gave you an earful?
So they sell sex but are not 'sex workers'? The cognitive dissonance here causes whiplash. Maybe they don't have sex for money, but they sell the illusion of sex? Is it because most of the people tipping them are gay men and they're going the 'no homo' route?
Go ahead, invite them to post their thoughts here. For me, someone who sells sex, is by definition, a sex worker. Do they engage in sexual acts for money? That may be the difference they're making (some of those men masturbate, use prostate masaggers linked to the tokens, and are rewarded with money when they cum alone; but some do bring other men to have sex with them in front of the cams. For money.) and they may be able to explain that difference better. Are they conflating getting money from men and being gay? What is the deal??
Your point was not lost, BTW. You were clear and concise and very eloquent.
Yet I insist Donna Summer has been right all this time...
XOXO
Flirt for Free and the myriad sites that provide customers with an eyeful of dick and ass and pecs and abs certainly qualify as a place where people are selling... sexual titillation? The goal is literally make their viewers cum. Their bodies are the merchandise.
One thing that irks me is that a woman doing this would immediately be seen as a sex worker. No ifs or buts. But why not the men? What is it that makes people think that when a woman takes her clothes off and touches herself for money she's a whore but a man that does exactly the same (and we can see when he cums) is not? Oh, the lines we draw in the sand.
The men are usually on the 'young' side (if you think that men in their late twenties and early thirties are young, but hey, I don't know you...) and are more often than not, very athletic and very handsome. Kind of like Jon's Latin American 'friends'. And I'm sure that most of them have a day job and this is their side gig. Like working for GrubHub to pay for their Xbox.
Miles and miles of taut, naked flesh, sculpted abs, perky butts and hard dicks. From the guy next door to the god next gym. Yep. just like heaven.
So, let's recap: attractive men in a website undress, parade, masturbate and cum (usually with the help of buttplugs that are linked to the tokens you give) for other men who are watching them online in exchange for 'tokens'. Said tokens could be translated into somehow $1,000 per ten hours of work and sometimes the promise of $192,000 when working 40 hours per week.
It sounds like sex work to me?
They've got what you want, you've got what they need. They'll be yours for the right amount of tokens. Maybe what these men do not like is that because they are getting money from gay/bi men who pay to watch them undress, masturbate and cum, they may somehow be considered gay/bi themselves? Is that it? Gay by Token? Is this a case of the No Homo?
I think those hunks should rest assured that not even if they are indeed sucking dick and fucking some bouncy ass in Flirt for Free, they would not be allowed to still call themselves 'straight'. After all, Gay Porn is crawling with gay for pay performers that once they stop taking ten inches up the ass run home to their wives/families and that's it. All in a day's work.
So what's your take, Constant Reader? Would being on sites like Flirt for Free make one of these men a sex worker? What is sex work, then? How do you define sex work? Would the cam girls int that site not be sex workers? Just good girls with a cam and a push up bra? Where do you draw the line? Was Donna Summer right?
I'll leave you with your thoughts, then. and if you wanna go take a look by yourself, feel Free: Flirt for Free is waiting for you...

If they're selling sex, they're sex workers. Donna Summer was a vocalist who sang about sex workers.
ReplyDeleteI kinda agree with that.
DeleteIt just blows my mind that there's so much cognitive dissonance.
And Donna sang about sex workers in Bed Girls. I watched a documentary about her on HBO. She was cool.
XOXO
If sex workers sell, it means there are (a lot of) people buying. Otherwise they wouldn't be there!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely.
DeleteThere's always people more than willing to pay for sex.
XOXO
Big says,
ReplyDeleteIf they are getting paid to do sexual activity, then, yes, they are sex workers. Ain't nothing wrong with that. In this age of cell phone cameras, anyone can be a porn star. Let them have their fun, let them make their money. It's not my thing --- to perform or pay to watch, but I sure don't have a problem with it. XOXO
No, there's nothing wrong with it.
DeleteThe problem I see is the idea that there are categories of sex work? As some are MORE sex work than others?
I think that not recognizing that they do sex work puts a stigma on sex work that should not be there.

HuntleyBiGuy:
ReplyDeleteI tend to agree. If they’re devoting time to this endeavor, and usually on a regular basis, and receiving payment in return, and basically offering their body for the sexual gratification of others, this is sex work. Nothing to be ashamed of. There may be a feeling on their part that “sex work” is something dirty that their mother wouldn’t approve. But they’re adults…own it.
XOXO 👨🏼❤️💋👨🏽
And the pay is not terrible, according to their own website.
DeleteI think that they do think that sex wok is indeed dirty and that's why they renounce the name?? Silly people.
XOXO
Making me feel old and very unattractive lol xx
ReplyDeleteLOL
DeleteMany of them are young, well-hung and full of cum. And they will charge for the privilege of letting someone enjoy that.
Youth and attractiveness are a coveted currency, apparently.
XOXO
I say they're providing a service that a great many people partake in and that's just fine.
ReplyDeleteThey are!
DeleteIt's not the fact that they don't have a clientele. It's that they say there's NO clientele when we can literally see the counter go up and up and up whenever they are online...
