Sam Smith: Tiny Desk Concert
I love @SamSmith's voice. Is it perfect? I have no idea. I'm not a musician or a music critic. What I do know is that their music connects with me. The first time I heard Stay With Me I had to sit down and listen. Gurl, was I shook. It's always like that with me and certain songs. They hit me like a wave. And after that I like them forever.
Do I love each and every song Sam sings? Probably not. Are there some of their songs that I play on repeat? Yes. Many. So when this Tiny Concert hit my feed, I knew I had to share it. The light, the happiness, the unadulterated joy this stripped down set gives is enough to carry me through a bad day.

I can take him or leave him...depends on the song, I guess. Then again, it's like that with most artists for me. Streisand is the only artist i will buy without hesitation --- and there have been things she's done that I don't care for and those (few) albums sit and collect dust. XOXO

I have tried to be a fan of his so hard so I don't have my gay card taken away, but it just does not happen. There is something about the sound of his voice that just grates on me. But he himself I adore.
