Let's talk about Kitara....
This fucking bitch.
And I'm talking about Kitara Ravache, of course. From the bowels of the Repug party, we were presented with this lying, cheating, stealing, creature. You know I truly believe that there's nothing worse than a gay Repug, right? My absolute disgust for that -one of the lowest- form of life really manifested itself in the persona of Santos. He is the embodiment of the worst of two worlds: the worst of being a Repug and the worst of being a gay man.
That's why I was totally taken aback when he was not thrown on the street, left to wonder the boroughs of New York in search of some repugnant dick and some Ozempic to keep her journey into fake slimdom. But no. And not because I didn't know the Repugs would not get rid of such creature. They are just as bad as Santos is, and would do anything to keep the slim majority they have right now. But because I was not expecting the Dems to weigh on the debacle and help keep Kitara's slimy ass on the job.
And Santos reacted just like you'd expect he'd react. That pretentious, pompous, self-aggrandizing asshole. And he was immediately dragged for it, of course. I believe he cowardly deleted that tweet.
But the answer to my question came from one insider: @RepRaskin, on Twitter. Because as always, we do not have any fucking idea of what's going on in politics in this country anymore. I don't think anybody really has any idea, TBH, but now less than ever. Raskin explained in a few words, why the Dems did not kick Kitara's ass to the curb:
So there you have it, from an insider's fingertips to your eyes. Now you may be able to talk about Santos during family gatherings and badmouth that stupid moron better. Because that's what I intend to do as soon as some stupid Repug brings his gay ass into any conversation to demonstrate how 'inclusive' the Repugnant GQP is.

Because his makes sense - especially in this age of "tit-for-tat" that the MAGAt Repugs are operating. And we all know that Betty Bowers is right. Right-wing gays are a disgrace. They are given visibility to show that even right-wing parties can be voted for by gays, because these parties are also open and inclusive. But it's a simple trick to try to win more votes. Their policy will never give space to any LGBT rights. It's just a trick to win and that's it.

ReplyDeleteLeave it to Jamie Raskin to be the voice of reason on one hand, and the thrower of shade on the other 😎. That is a fine line to walk. They could have voted to expel a very minor repug, but at what cost? That could have put a target on the back of any number of Dems in swing districts, or who have been a thorn in the collective repug side (think Swawell, Goldman, even Jeffries or Raskin).
But I do hope that the coming election cycle sees a swing in the house and an increase in the senate for the Dems. Today’s elections in states like Ohio and Virginia could be a bell weather for next year.
