Strange Way of Life...
I want to see this. Bad.
Only problem is, it's not showing in Chicago. Oh, I've looked everywhere: obscure little movie houses, cineplexes, the works. But nothing.
But I swear, as soon as I can get my greedy hands on it, it's game over. I love Almodóvar. And Pedro Pascal because I want him to wreak me. And Ethan Hawke. And even Westerns. Especially if it's about cowboys in love.

Yowza! Now that's my type of western! I'll keep my eyes peeled for it too.
ReplyDeleteI know, right?
DeleteWesterns are rife with machismo and toxic masculinity. This may be just what the doctor ordered.

Your best bet is to wait until it starts to stream, however Sony Pictures is staying rather tight lipped about when that will be, and on what platforms.
ReplyDeleteI think it's going to be that.
DeleteThat's how I watched his The Human Voice with Tilda Swinton. Could never see it in theaters.
Sneaky Sony!

Oooooooooooh Pedro Pascal.

HuntleyBiGuy:
ReplyDeleteOh this looks sooo good. I’m surprised that there aren’t any screens showing it in our area. Looks like streaming it is.
XOXO 👨🏼❤️💋👨🏽
Nothing.
DeleteNOTHING. I've looked everywhere in Chicago and surrounding areas. Even Milwaukee. Nothing.
I may have to resign myself to streaming it when they decide to do that.

Big says,
ReplyDeleteIf this is anywhere near as good as "Brokeback Mountain," I'm in. And it's a short at 1:18. XOXO
Oh, I loved Brokeback Mountain.
DeleteSaw it three times. Cried every time.
I even own the DVD.
And it is a short film. I guess that's why they are not showing it in multiplexes...
XOXO
First I am hearing of it but it looks wonderful. Thanks for sharing, Sixpence.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds intriguing, no?
DeleteI am sooo looking forward to seeing/watching it!
XOXO
Cowboys in love? I've already heard and seen this with Brokeback Mountain obviously!
ReplyDeleteSince everything that exists in reality exists in pornography, I can swear to you that a few years later I'll see a DVD called Bareback Mountains!
Oh, yes.
DeleteBut this is kind of an extension of that story. They meet again as older men, I understand, after they have an affair as young men. And Brokeback Mountain was so definitely tragic that I hope this one has a happier ending.
BTW, I think there is already a gay porn parody called Bareback Mountain LOL
