ReplyDeleteWelcome back babe! This is such a hallowed, iconic space. The personal touches that each occupant brings reflect the person they are. Gone is the garishness of the previous occupant and sanity returned. I imagine it took awhile to get the ketchup stains off the wall.
Joe is truly a man of the people, humble and a public servant. And yes, we must elevate the volume and tenor of the Democratic message. His first campaign speech of the year was a good start. We must drive home what is at stake in this election. The repugs must be beaten at EVERY level.

The portraits of prior Presidents of honor and the sculptures of civil rights leaders of truth are inspiring, just as they must be for the President. Finally, the Resolute desk used by our beloved President Kennedy says it all, in this thoughtful and touching tour of the presidential offices of the White House. For those of us who believe in democracy, our Nation and our White House are in good hands with President Biden. -Rj
