Oh, The Golden Calf...?
On Easter morning, Trump made 71 social media post. Only one of those referenced Easter, where he simply posted, "HAPPY EASTER."
The rest of Trump's posts included attacks on Judge Merchan's daughter, Mike Gallagher, Jon Stewart, Engoron, Biden, Maxine Watters, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Fani Willis, Obama, Hunter Biden and Marc Elias.
He also made several posts citing favorable polls, an article about his retribution if elected, several of people endorsing him, an article claiming Russian collusion was a hoax, an article about migrant crime, and several repeating the lies about the Biden's White House's Easter Egg hunt and transgender proclamation.
But among this cesspool of deplorability, Trump made two posts attaching an article in Gateway Pundit and American Thinker from his pal, sports gambling tout Wayne Ally Root. In this sickening article, Root makes the case that Trump is a true miracle sent by God to save America. That Trump is 'The Chosen One' sent by God and blessed by God.
How deranged is Don Poorleone? Apart from hawking bibles, (which is lowkey a way to funnel money from the religulous wrong into his coffers, natch) now The Golden Calf has literally anointed himself the second coming. Let's hope that backfires spectacularly, just like his making (un)Truth Social public (that is currently hemorrhaging money after being bought for billions). I'm not a practicing xtianist, but if I were, I'd be pissed.
Who am I kidding? The fundies love it and will surely give him money, because what a fundie loves more than anything is POWER and Jabba the Orange can give them precisely that. Never underestimate the hunger the fundies have for power. They'll pay to cover Cheeto's legal fees for paying off a porn star he slept with while his wife was having their baby. Religion knows no morals.

I find it interesting that under Trump, many Christians see him as being a flawed character who can be forgiven since he gives them what they want. They are now rapidly being defined by the selfishness of their faither instead of anything else.

Trump was never a church going religious person they don't they don't understand that. He's only telling them what they want to hear . And actually Bob had a very funny meme Sunday that featured owning the whole Trump Bible collection. There's the Bible that he sold that said make America great again when he ran for president. There's the Gideon Bible that was in the motel drawer of where he f*** the pornstar. Then there's the one he held upside down. And now the latest one. We'll see how religious he is when he loses the election, and takes all the Bibles and throws them up against the wall!
