Oh, Mr. Housman...

"The idea for this song was inspired by the one and only time I truly tried to "pray the gay away". It took a long time to get there, but this song is about my journey to accepting that there is absolutely nothing wrong with loving someone else." @chrishousman

Also, this video gave me the tingle to mingle.

XOXO

P.S. Oh, you know I would let him hit it. Repeatedly.

Go give him a follow on Insta @chrishousmusic

P.P.S. I don’t even like Country music that much.

  1. And when he's done with you, he could tap me! I have always enjoyed his music, and I enjoyed that video. Tells a great story with the song.

    1. Oh, babes.
I'd call you and have you both Eiffel Tower me. I will be beat after that, but happy.
And the video is very sweet. And hot. And sweet.

  2. I saw the video last week and loved it. Love the idea of more country artists not only coming out as gay, but writing and singing and making videos of their journeys.
Every time a person comes out it makes it easier on someone else.

Representation, babes. It always matters. Especially in genres like Country...

    HuntleyBiGuy:
Me thinks that your record collection is being taken over by country music. I like this song and the video is well done. And yes, Chris is pretty hot.

What I like are those gay men coming out with Country songs and videos!
      It helps they're hot, no?

Not much of a country music fan, but this is good. The more diverse the community, the more the world sees that, easier it gets for others. XOXO

But it was nice! And Country music does need that representation. Really.

I do not especially like Country, but I like it when a man sings to another. And then makes a video about it.

  7. Awkward lyrics, but well-meaning. Musically nothing new. But I like him. And it hits enough of a hook to qualify. Hope he has a lovely career. I tell you... country music? It just had no idea what was coming for it. Can't wait for what's coming for it next. Hope it shakes the hypocrisy outta Nashville once and for all.

    1. I like that it's what I'd consider 'conventionally Country'. Whatever that is in my head. I also hope his career takes off. He seems to have a nice following and has shows lined up.
Country music is having a moment, that's for sure.
