Oh, Diplo ...
Oh, if I could only...
This, honey, is what money could buy you if you had the dough. I find this house to be fantastic and love the actual building. Nature around and in it makes it super cool, in my eyes. I'm impressed with the indoor/outdoor mood and that furniture!
Diplo has always pinged my Gaydar, btw.
Wanna go to Jamaica? I do.
XOXO
Love the location, like the house; but it feels so sterile for the most part.

PS Diplo nekkid on horseback might be running through my brain today!
I like the house, too.
DeleteAnd I imagine this is a vacation home, hence the RBNB feel...
And yes, now I'll be thinking about Diplo riding bareback.
XOXO
Sorry, I don't know who he is, but it's obvious his house was designed by his ego.
ReplyDeletehe's - however - very cute and sexy
DeleteYes, Xersex.
DeleteHe's cute and sexy.
And Dave, dear. Every house is designed by the owner's ego. That's why we show it.
XOXO
I went to Jamaica. Most homophobic place on the planet. I have never felt less welcome in my life and we stayed at an all-adult resort. It was not a good feeling. The animosity was palpable. And going outside the compound, you had to deal with the poverty vs. the privilege and the fact that the beaches were all owned by wealthy outsiders and the native people had to live in holes dug into the hills. I will never go back. I remember ordering a martini and the bartender at the resort claiming he didn't know what it was... it was that kind of passive aggressiveness. Never so glad to leave a place in my life. Don't go, dear.
ReplyDeleteOh... and why does Diplo sound like Maya Rudolph doing Be-bouncy?
DeleteOMG for real?
DeleteBut I can see how the British rules about buggery are embedded in the country. And that duality Poor/Rich is evident anywhere where tourism is a source of money...
I'd never go now.
XOXO
Yes, Upton is right. I had four friend who went to Jamaica, two gay couple and were turned away from two different dining establishments, they refused to wait on them, and the slurs from passerby's were heavy they said. They basicaly said the same as Upton...not welcoming, and they were on edge the whole trip.
DeleteWhoa.
DeleteThat's terrible. And a pity. Can you imagine how LGBTQ people feel when they HAVE to live there????
XOXO
HuntleyBiGuy:
ReplyDeleteOMG! What a house! The money poured into this place has to be astronomical! Though being in Jamaica, I’m sure the dollar goes a long way. The custom furniture is fantastic and the open air living is very nice.
And, yes, he can get it any day of the week. 🤤
XOXO 👨🏼❤️💋👨🏽
I'm sure it was expensive.
DeleteAnd many artists have houses in the Caribbean. I loved the furniture and the art. And the garden!
XOXO
OMFG! He had me at the opening montage. That library - the music, the books. Oh, I could just get lost in there. Can I marry him and live there??? XOXO
ReplyDeleteP.S. I do question the authenticity of the Pompei urn. Unless it was a black market purchase, leaving Italy with an antiquity? Or maybe he got bamboozled. LOL. XOXO
Yes.
DeleteThat library? Yes. And he probably uses this house to record, so it makes sense it's so musical, no?
And I'm not sure about the Pompeii urn either. But it looks fab. Want one.
XOXO
I like it for somewhere I check in at, but not to live in daily...too commercial and B&B for me.
ReplyDeleteI think it's his vacation/work space home, so that may be the vibe you're getting. I think it's beautiful, but it does need more life...
DeleteXOXO
Big says,
DeleteUm...more life? I bet WE could add a ton of it! 😉 xoxo
