Oh, Maulik…

You may have heard about @maulikpancholy because Mads posted an entry about him in her blog a hot minute ago. It was about him being banned from a speaking engagement that happened right in Mad's backyard. Literally. So for those gayz who think they're immune to this kind of fuckery because of their whiteness, their wealth and their level of privilege? Pay attention.

All the bigots need is s whiff of wokeness to get on your ass. You don't need to be a public speaker. It may be that you like 'em younger (and from there to pedophilia it's just a step, in their sick minds). Maybe it's because you're a stablished 'bachelor', maybe it is that you don't get many visitors, maybe it's because you get too many gentlemen callers, it may be your politics, or your yard Biden/Harris yard signs or just because. You may feel safe because you live in a Blue dot in a sea of red (just look at Mads!). But they only need is the seeds of a doubt. That's all they need to come for YOU, too.

It was a 5/4 close call (too close, if you ask me) but it seems to have been gone to the Good Guys THIS TIME. And Pennsylvania is one of the few states that WILL decide the presidential election, folks...

XOXO

P.S. Mads, I'll be in Philly in November for work! Woot woot! *wink* *wink* Should we keep in touch via email?? What about a Kiki?

  1. Glad he's back on to speak, though that vote is razor thin, which is way, yes ... we should Vote Blue!

    1. I know!
You'd think they'd come back to their senses, but the bigots were still THERE.
People need to vote in November. It's the only solution.

    HuntleyBiGuy:
What a bunch of crap! These Karens have nothing better to do than to police other people's kids. If you don’t want your precious one to attend an event, then let the school know that your child will not be in school that day.

    1. Oh, you know that's their whole life: to fuck shit up.
They think that because the kids will not have a speaker come talk to them they will not recognize they're Queer. Delusional fools.

  3. I live in Cumberland County. It's used to be a bastion of whiteness, but it is changing. In Harrisburg, this is what used to be called The White Shore, that too is changing. Because we have 3 large hospitals, there is a large influx of Asians and they are the immigrants the Cultists rail against. Cumberland Valley School District is changing, slowly. It's big. The school actually has a campus, with separate buildings devoted to athletics. School taxes are unbelievable high in the district, so people are buying in the less expensive, more liberal areas like Enola, and Mechanicsburg. Things are changing. Slowly.

    1. Oh, I believe that.
It's White Grievance County, though. That's always there. And I totally see people moving to other more liberal areas (that are cheaper). School districts can make or break a place...

  5. Big says,
Whew...that was a close vote. But, that kind of b.s. is happening all over the country. We've been watching the new season of "We're Here" (new cast - not as good as the original). First 2 episodes take place in Murphreesboro, TN, outside Nashville, where the city council voted to ban a **family-friendly** drag show. E3, we'll see if they get arrested. The theatre there did my buddy's play to raise money for a new roof. The city council had the building razed --- AFTER the work had been done. The bigots are everywhere. Proof that down-ballot votes are extremely important. Vote Blue, no matter who. XOXO

    1. It was too close!
You'd think they overturned that decision overwhelmingly! That means the bigots are STILL there.
I watched the first episode of We're Here. Those girls were shook with the bigotry. Ballot down votes are as important as votes for president. That's for sure.

  6. Yes it was a relief that this time it ended up good. The community and surrounding area really came through. Which puzzles me, only because many here don't have a problem per se with gay rights or gay people yet they keep him electing the same idiots in. I sometimes wonder if people personally knew somebody gay they would vote these asshats out! In the meantime I hear they're bored is in turmoil and inviting and fighting is ensuing. The one that caused the big stink may get ousted. Good. I think it's great that Maulik came back and showed his class the community and the LBGT community's. He could have told them to go fuck themselves.

Meanwhile...a visit?!?! Like you have to ask? Do I need to bring a chaperone?

    1. Well, they 'apparently' do not have a problem with Gay people, but they obviously do: the second voting advantage was kind of razor thin.

LOL we would probably need a chaperone, Mads!

    2. The board has the problem. The community, the Cumberland County Superintendent, teachers and parents were appalled and were in uproar about this, which is why they have to vote smarter. Now that they see how this went, I can bet you they will all be voted out one by one. This opened the eyes of many here I can tell you.

    3. Oh, the boards are always problematic when too many conservatives take over. I am glad the teachers and parents showed their discontent! I hope the board gets restructured soon!

That person had only bigotry to back up his decisions.
I would not surprised to find skeletons in his closet...

Not to mention these type of tripe on school boards can end up causing lawsuits that never end and can bring a school district to bankruptcy. Of course they do everything they can to destroy our public schools. -Rj

    3. Oh, true that.
Just like those Karen with Kasseroles when the whole book banning thing was going on. And you are right: destroying public schools is their goal.
