Oh, engaged...?

I thought this was a good example of how a story can be told while not having to let every little i dotted or every t crossed. I'd watch this as a feature film, btw.

Also, I was inspired by Mad's post about being gloriously alone. Do with that as you wish...

XOXO

P.S. @DanielKIsaac? Yes, please and thank you.

  2. Big says,
Very nice film. The character of Darren needed to learn how to just "be." That's the key to not feeling on stage or in the spotlight because you don't fit society's "norm." Just...be.
    That's my takeaway. XOXO

    1. Isn't it?
I thought it could make a good rom com if developed properly. And just 'being' is the best advice anybody can get.

    HuntleyBiGuy:
This was a very adorable short. Me being me, I thought at the end, with him standing in the middle of the street, he was going to get hit. Glad we can envision out own happy ending. Or go for the macabre, if we’re so inclined. 🙃

And I have to accept I feared the same: the car coming. I would NEVER stand in the middle of the street like that. Ever.
We've seen too many Final Destination movies. LOL

  4. The ending was touching, though I don't know if Darren is truly changing.

And I think Darren is Darren. There's tons of people like that, you know?

I actually know people who have gone through something different. They put soooo much effort int it!
      And Daniel is yummy.

  6. First off the two actors are deliciously adorable, and I loved the ending ... even though, like Huntley, I thought a car would swoop through the intersection and ruin everything.

And as I said on Maddie's blog about alone/lonely: I think there's "alone" and there's "lonely." One isn't bad, but the other can be.

So adorable! And we have all seen too many horror movies. I swear.
And I agree with you making that difference...

  7. Sweet. I just adore that there is so much LGBTQ+ content out there these days. The overall quality is improving... though we do tend to remain myopic. Thanks for sharing this. What a fun find.

Twenty years ago this kind of short would pop up once every blue moon. Now all we have to do is let YouTube's algorithm do the work for us...
