Oh, Dallas...!

We usually see the porn-to-normie pipeline and learn how hard it is for models to make that transition. Well, this one is a normie-to-porn story and I'm here for it. Never mind that Dallas is a very handsome man, of course. I happen to find him very attractive. Oh, if I lived in California, I’d be telling another story.

One thing that struck me: his commentary on the maddening rat race that is working in the media and the terrible pressure to fulfill a quota. Having my boss looking at ratings every day and having to compete with that is just fucking stressing. I understand how he'd rather choose RentMen.

I enjoyed him talking about his life story and how now he's happy living with his boyfriend in Palm Springs. Porn stars. They're just like us.

XOXO

P.S. Dallas' Insta is very entertaining @daddy_dallassteele and so is his partner's: @boysteele. But the goodies are in their @onlyfans and their @twitter, of course...

Had to give up about 5 minutes in....the sound kept cutting out and it was making me a little nuts. The first thing off surprised me: That a small percentage of porn performers actually make enough to live on. Say what??? Then you realize just how many porn sites there are.... I liken it to having cable; there ****way**** too much air time to fill so bulk of it is pretty crappy.

Big, this interviewer always deletes words that YouTube may find offensive, like porn, OnlyFans, and even murder. He does this so he doesn’t get deplatformed. Once you know this, you can fill in the words. Initially it’s maddening, but the. It starts to flow.

    2. I agree with YouTubers having to erase anything YouTube considers 'vulgar' or 'sexual'. It demonetizes the video. And yep, I think depending on what you do and how your studio work/ OnlyFans works, they can make a living out of it. Hence RentMan.

  2. Interesting transition from journalist to porn star, but as long as people are happy in their chosen career and not hurting anyone who are we to judge?

I think the rat race of the News cycle was too much. I would not be able to take it.

What a fascinating story. I was going to initially say that it wasn’t a big leap from TV news to porn, but I didn’t want to bad mouth porn 🙃.

Dallas has had a truly interesting, and sometimes tragic life. Porn doesn’t pay all of the bills, though you can make good money, you’ve told me 😄, but it’s not forever. And he’s in the right place where having been in porn may not be as damaging to other opportunities.

You're thinking Fox Entertainment. THAT is just like porn, but dirtier. And less ethical. I think he is doing better in his new career, though. He seems much more... relaxed? And yes, the ex boyfriend's story was quite intense.

  4. I am not impressed, but, as Bob says, if he's happy, more power to him.

    1. Oh, I am impressed.
When a man his age enters porn, he has to fight with the twenty year olds who come in with six packs, a big dick and no scruples. You know how gay men (especially OLDER gay men) only like their porn when it's young and pneumatic...
He's successful and seems very relaxed in a second career, when everybody else is thinking about retirement.

  5. I've seen his story. I agree much easier to go from a normal job into porn then the other way around. He does nothing for me...way too big and tumble for me personally and his boy is more like a man. I never saw him before. When i saw boy ...I thought he is past boy!!!LMAO!!!!

I have seen his work, but I did not know about his story. And I like men like him. Right age, right everything. And you know that in gay terms 'Boy' is very not 'boy'.

  6. Oh, this really is a thing? And not a LOGO made-for-television movie? Huh. Well, whatever floats your boat. People find validation in many ways. I hope he's happy.

Well, life sometimes is stranger than what a screenwriter can create, Upton. And I think it may be validation, but also he's doing something he enjoys?
I'm sure I would enjoy him...
