Oh, Time Traveling...?

Here's the thing: I don't have the WOW app (or desire to pay for it) so I can't watch the international seasons of Drag Race. That's why I stop by Angelillo's @volandoarasdesuelo to get my updates (yes, google translate is your best friend, too!). He basically keeps me up to date with my all time fav: Drag Race España.

The international franchises are very different to the US version (and Mads can confirm this): more vibrant, more infused with the local color and more outrageous. Here, a quick amouse-bouche of the Spanish version of Drag Race. So click on the CC and let's go!

Vroooom!

  1. In my opinion Drag Race Espana , the qieens on it, and Surpremme DeLuxe are the best of this whole shit and shebang Drag Race history, including our own.

    1. I love DRE.
I think Supreme is a very cool judge, very relatable and beautiful. Love the Javis, too!

  2. Drag Race extra editions are the new Real Housewives shows; they're everywhere. Sadly, I don't have the time, the bandwidth, the streaming desires, to catch them all so I make due with YouTube most of the time.

    1. Well, kinda.
With much more talent, though. The Real Trashwives are... trashy. No talent.
I watch Drag Race when it's streaming and anything they put on YouTube. Free is my fav price tag.

    1. Hahaha
Well, it depends. I only watch what's streaming (there's a ton on Tubi and Pluto and the such, for free. I do have friends who have the app and we sometimes do binge viewing parties, especially the finales. I've watched bits and pieces of most of the franchises and they are very cool.
      But I like Drag.

  5. Big says,
With so many versions going on in so many countries, well...no wonder Ru is rich as fuck. LOL. But like Debra, there's only so much of the same thing a person can watch.

    1. Well, yes.
It's a franchise, at this point. Think Survivor or something like that. And there's always product if people consume it...

  6. The ex is addicted to the US version and watches the seasons on repeat over and over... that is my only exposure and I must say... I don't like watching people being bitchy, catty, and mean. That's not entertainment. For me. I hear it "gets better" in later seasons and people are really there for each other, but, from my brief knowledge of reality TV, conflict equals ratings... so? Meh. Kizzes.

    1. I really like the US version. I stream it when it's on.
And there's not a lot of bitchiness in the US version! The Italian version? Oh, honey.
And people forget this IS reality tv. It IS meant to be 'entertaining' to the masses. That it provides a platform for incredibly talented Drag artists is just the cherry on top.

Me mantienes al día con todo lo relacionado con DRE y eso es suficiente.
