Oh, Arnon..?

I think the first time I watched a man dancing to Ravel's Boléro was in a movie called Les Uns et Les Outres. I think it was the closing scene (it's been a looong time since that, babes), and I was ENTRANCED.  I always find it absolutely riveting watching men dance. Here, a more contemporary take on that awesome piece.

Rumor has it that Ravel was a very closeted 'secretive' gay man and I think Boléro is his ode to sex. Oh yes. And not the Bo Derek type of sex. More like the Tim Tales/Sean Cody kinda sex ifyouknowwhatImean. So as a palate cleanse, here it is. @arnonherring with his take on Ravel's Boléro.

You're welcome.

XOXO

P.S. if you want to keep your Insta pretty, give @arnonherring a follow....

P.P.S. you know that ass is HARD.

  1. I love a classically trained male dancer and not JUST because of the obvious.
    The athleticism is good, too!

Whoa. The way that body moves is just fantastic. Remember that Olympian on the pummel horse? Same feeling.

I’ve seen Arnon on YouTube before, he popped up as a suggestion. I’m glad he did. He got things popping, alright 😜.

I love the video and your critique. Just gave him a follow on instagram. A nice way to end a harrowing week.

Youtube KNOWS you. And that's the kind of content I'm going to follow from now on...

  3. Dancers, both male and female, don't get enough credit for being the amazing athletes they are, quite apart from their artistry.

    1. I absolutely agree.
The blood, sweat and tears that go into a presentation like this are never counted.

  4. Thanks. It was interesting. I'm not that wild about the song; it was terribly overplayed when I was younger, and I have never, ever had an interest in ballet.

    1. Oh, yes.
I remember reading that Bo Derek made it totally ubiquitous. But it is a fab composition.

  5. Big says,
I believe I've seen clips of him before. Well done. Always. Great form --- so many dancers curl the toes when pointing and he doesn't. Bravo! Thanks for a lovely start to the weekend.

    1. I just found him and thought he was fantastic.
There IS something about the position of the foot, right?

    2. Big says,
There is. There should be a straight line down the top of the leg all the way to the toes. Lots of dancers curl the toes downward in their strain to flex/bend the ankle to point the foot. 😊

    3. I think that's fab.
I also think that it should be extremely difficult because few people have that form.

  6. I follow him, and another dancer, which I can't recall his name, but they are both amazing. I love dancing in clubs, can't get enough. But have no knowledge of ballet dancing. But I will say have dated two dancers, and both were good lovers in bed too.

    1. Seriously.
They DO deserve a follow and all the likes in the world.

And trained dancers are hot and VERY athletic in bed.
