Oh, Christopher...!

Ok, so this one is in contrast with last week's apartment. You see, there are many differences between styling an apartment and styling a house but the idea of 'taste' and 'proportion' will always be the same. Same with 'style'.

Our place tends to reflect our style (and personality! That’s why I don’t fuck a man who do not have books at his place. LOL) and I think Christopher's style and his personal aesthetic are fantastic. I like to display things that are about my past and things that are uniquely me, too.  Besides, have I realized I really do not need four bedrooms and three bathrooms just to feel ‘free’

And now I want to have an 'accountability shelf'.

Also, Connor!!!

XOXO

  1. I especially like how he opened it up and made a bigger living/dining/kitchen.

    1. Same!
It's airier and it looks much bigger. I think you can do that when you own the place.

  2. Big says,
Storing sweaters in the oven! LOL. We found out that's true during our trip a few weeks ago. He's got color on the walls but it doesn't feel overbearing - which is good for a small space. It also manages to make it "feel" larger. And I love the mural - much to my surprise. Overall, nice job.

I had a girlfriend who put her shoes there! And I like how there IS color in the apartment and yet, it's not too saturated. That opens it up, IMHO.

  3. It's too small for me, though for as much space as he has, he's probably paying $12,000 to $15,000 a month (I've been watching a realtor in New York's videos).

    1. Oh, New York is PROHIBITIVE.
I used to date a guy who lived in an efficiency (many years ago) and he paid twice what I paid in Pittsburgh at the time. And I had a one bedroom!

  4. Okay... I love this. This is the place for me. One could NEVER get depressed living in this apartment. I can do without the flowers on the table, but all that white... and there's a piano (sort of). Tons of light... and just the right size. I might get rid of a few pieces to make more room, but this is just precious. And Connor! I think every apartment needs a Connor. Kizzes.

It’s nice when you have the resources to make your vision come through. He had the architectural knowledge and the money and time to make this happen. I love everything about it.
