Oh, the house of Noods...?
When you start thinking that mixing styles does not work, you get a house like this one: a pinch of brutalism, a touch of mid-century and tons of personality give you a house that feels lived-in and stylish. Did you want more? I did not.
There's also a great use of the space and a color palette and an excellent use of textures that leaves us wanting... an invite to one of of his dinner parties. Or at least I do want to go to one.

P.S. that White Terrier!!!!!! And I don't even like having pets!
I know they filmed a lot of it at night but it still seems quite dark--and I love dark colors.
ReplyDeleteI need a bit more light.

ReplyDeleteVery modern, and still kind of warm with a lot of use of wood. I really like this space and what they did with it. I would love to see what the exterior of the building looks like, with the angled windows, I think it would be interesting.

Big says,
ReplyDeleteIt's all too dark for me. Seasonal Depression can settle over me real fast - I fear it would be constant in that place. Textures are important, but they have too many different ones all crammed together. It doesn't feel cohesive. 🤷
XOXO
Fun stuff. Cute couple. They are very proud of what the have accomplished. I don't like all the 'cute' stuff... I think it would look much better if 75% of the kitsch was stored in a box. The pets are nice. I could live there... if I got rid of some of the stuff... including furniture... I would like more flow and open areas.
ReplyDeleteNice, but I really have no curiosity in other people's houses, perhaps that's because I'm happy with mine.
