Oh, Witchcraft Support...?
OMG
I LOVE this (and HER!) so hard! There's nothing like having someone who knows the hell they're talking about tell you about things like this. I also find fascinating how intersectional this little video is, without even trying too hard. Because you know we've gone (and go) through it because of fragile, stupid, narcissistic cisgender straight white men.
Knowledge, Constant Reader, it can be fun.
Enjoy!!
XOXO
P.P.S. this post is lovingly dedicated to all my #witches
No time to watch this all right now, but I WILL watch it later. Already fascinating. And in the first flash of images, my husband’s 8-greats-grandfather, George Jacobs, is pictured pleading at his trial in Salem, after which he was hanged!
ReplyDeleteOh, you MUST!
DeleteIt's so good. She's sooooo good!
And what are the ODDS!!!! I'm literally gagged.
XOXO
I loved it! She is wonderful.
DeleteThere are many lessons for our own times in the hate-filled cult madness of the historical witch trials and persecution. Am I hopeful that those lessons will be understood? No. There are similarly powerful lessons in the hate-filled cult madness of Nazi Germany but those are being blindly ignored too.
ReplyDeleteThat last gif made me laugh out loud!
Those who don't understand history are doomed to repeat it.
DeleteBurning them at the stake, or gassing them in ovens.
Absolutely.
DeletePeople keep ignoring the signs. I call that willful stupidity.
XOXO
@Debs: OMG AHS Coven is the BEST.
DeleteXOXO
Big says,
ReplyDeleteLike Mitchell, I will have to finish watching later. But, OMG, lessons the past can teach are amazing, if only we would pay attention. Sadly, not enough people do. Suffice it to say, the next couple years are going to be interesting to watch unfurl.
XOXO
History should not be repeated.
DeleteEspecially when we KNOW how it'll end.
XOXO
HuntleyBiGuy:
ReplyDeleteFascinating video, so much to impart! And I know men can be witches, I’ve experienced your spells for years. 🧙♀️
XOXO 👨🏼❤️💋👨🏽
Hahaha
DeleteYou silly goose!
XOXO
Wow. She goes on quite a bit. How fun. I think witchcraft is like all organized religions - interesting stories, but not worth tithing 10% or dressing up much. Fascinating bits of history - the kind never taught in any school. More's the pity... personally, I like the idea of teens getting into forming covens and casting spells on one another. It's a belief system which makes sense... by yearning and divining one truly can manifest results. Thanks for sharing this. You find the best stuff. Kizzes.
ReplyDeleteShe's fab.
DeleteAnd THIS is the kind of history that's compelling and interesting. And I'd love to be part of a coven!!!
XOXO
I will watch this at some point. I am fascinated with witches right now because of Wicked. And watching Elphaba learn to use a broom.
ReplyDeleteOh, I strongly recommend it.
DeleteIt's fascinating. And I did not think of Wicked, but good catch!!
XOXO
I don't know what you're talking about. I know nothing about being a witch or witchcraft.....
ReplyDeleteHahahaha
ReplyDeleteOh, we know you Mads. We KNOW you!!
XOXO
