Oh, Groovy ...?

I was talking to someone online (as one usually does) and he mentioned this artist. I had never heard of JMSN until literally last week but now I can't stop listening to him. His real name is Christian Berishaj and he's fascinating: a multi instrumentalist, his voice kind of changes depending on the song (or it seems to me) and he does this kind of trippy R&B that is genre-defying IMHO. After Doechii's Tiny Desk concert, I thought this would be cool to share.

So of course I had to post him here.

Enjoy!

His Insta @jmsn is just as trippy! I like!

XOXO

P. S.:

Hit them in the wallet!

  1. Haven't heard the word "groovy" used non-ironically since forever.

  2. It's a bit odd, overtly sexual, and I am getting Riff Raff from Rocky Horror vibes.
    But that's just me.

  3. If you like this instrumentation, you'd love Pink Floyd. In fact, it sounds like he put his own lyrics to one of their old songs.

    1. Love me some Pink Floyd!
And you know there's very little 'new' in music, unless you go the way of Doechii and mix things up...

  4. Hmmmmm........... I must ruminate on this one. That does seem to harken back to the 70s.
