Oh, Amazon…?
We all have to thank Huntley, who reminded me of this.
Simple as that.
XOXO
P. S. For those who think it’s useless:
That's the title of one of my favourite songs. The most lethal, the most essential thing is to hear your own voice. Also, keeping up with the idea of writing as catharsis, this one blog is dedicated all to myself. More solipsism would be hard to find. And I like it like that. Oh, and this is a queer (and self-proclaimed 'ADULT') blog so go ahead, make your day... mine is done.
Thanks for those stats re the boycott's effect on Target -- impressive!
ReplyDeleteLuckily for me, I have NEVER used Amazon for anything and have always looked for alternate sites to buy anything I might need online.
ReplyDeleteBut I will push the boycott.

HuntleyBiGuy:
ReplyDeleteI was mentioning to Six that I saw an ad on streaming TV from Amazon that 60% of Amazon sales are for small businesses that use them as their online portal. They’re trying to mitigate the fallout.
Follow the tips above!
XOXO👨🏼❤️💋👨🏽
Big says,
ReplyDeleteThe blackout isn't a problem for us. We do very little online purchasing anymore, and if we do we follow that route of finding their websites. We tend to buy local now. They need the support to remain viable through this economic quagmire we've entered.
XOXO
I have stopped buying from Amazon, and it wasn't that difficult. Amazon Prime has also been cancelled.
ReplyDeleteRecommend also extending this to other tentacles of the Bezos octopus - Whole Foods, Zappos etc.

The greedy stockholders don’t like it when they’re hit in the pocketbook, but they’re fine when everyone else is hit in the pocketbook. Now is the time to give them a taste of their own bitter medicine, castor oil anyone ?
