Oh, Chad ...!
When I saw @ChadMichaels for the first time I knew there was much more there besides the incredible Cher impersonations. Oh, yes. It's almost a lost art, nowadays, when the Queens realize they lack comic timing, improv strategies and the capacity to act when they do The Snatch Game or are called to do a roast. Or even when doing a simple reading!
But I remember that when I started to go to the bars (still underage, natch) the Queens did Barbra and Judy and Tina and ALL the DIVAS. And they could command a stage. Even on a Wednesday night! The illusion is flawless with Chad, of course. But there's also so much more behind the apparently dainty exterior: a steel backbone and a knowledge of what it is to be on stage.
And it helps when we have a partner in crime, of course! Here we have a peek at the magic behind the curtain: this and more is what makes Chad a superstar. Also, I wanna be his neighbor. Can you imagine the ki-ki??
XOXO
I enjoyed watching this video with my morning coffee, thanks!

ReplyDeleteI’m constantly amazed at the amount of costumes, wigs and accessories are necessary for this line of work. Chad seems to be doing well for himself and that’s fantastic!
XOXO 👨🏼❤️💋👨🏽
Big says,
ReplyDeleteTBH, I kind of miss those drag shows...especially when they were able to do their own vocals instead of the lip-sync. But, Chad seems to be doing pretty well, there.
XOXO
What talent. And what a sweetheart!
ReplyDeleteNice digs. And a truly talented human being. That said... also the poster boy for what NOT to do... no matter how much we want to look like Cher. Kizzes.
ReplyDeleteChad is probably one of the drag race girls who has been around the block several times, even before drag race. It's funny, I seem to have heard more about him before drag race, instead of after drag race. His career spans as long as Miss Richfield and Varla Jean Merman.
