Oh. Woo, boy...!

I wish I were one of those soap-and-water boys. Wham! Bam! Thank-you-man!
But I'm not.

And Jair here makes the case for me.

XOXO

P.S. here's my routine:

Morning: Cetaphil (in the shower cause I'm lazy). Then, some rose water from Trader Joe's (it's fantastic instead of after shave, because I use an electric razor) and then the Lacura H2O face cream from Aldi. I am starting to use Trader Joe's eye cream now. My sister insists I have to. I don’t wear sunscreen, though.

Night: Trader Joe's All in One Nourish facial cleanser and a good night's sleep.

I suffered from paralyzing acne when I was a teen and was not a stranger to Clearasil *shudders* for YEARS so I've always washed my face before bed so I don't ruin the bedcovers. It's a reflex by now.

I’m very aware that some people do require more product than others. My skin routine, fortunately is very simple: Shower with Ivory soap in the morning. In the winter I will use some hand lotion because they do get a little dry.

    2. Hahaha @Mads
And I know about the Ivory Soap. Same.
And I use lotion all over my body in winter or I'll get all itchy. Especially now in the new apartment, that has that forced air heating system.

    1. Oh, believe it or not Noxzema is fantastic!
I have tons of people who SWEAR by it. And I've used it sporadically. It's good.

  3. If you want the showcase to gleam...we need too preserve it!!!

I too do a cleanser...in the AM...followed by witch hazel...then moisturizer and a eye cream. At night...a cleanser and then a night face cream from Chanel I SWEAR by.

Once a week...a mud mask . Fango from Princess Marcella Borghese. Love it. I feel I look good for 110!

Meanwhile is it wrong I want to flip fuck with Jair?

    1. Yes! Exactly!
I love witch hazel (I go from witch hazel to rosewater). And my sister swears using eye cream is NECESSARY. I believe her.
I may start using a night cream. I still just wash my face, but hey...
I love mud masks! I am finishing a clay mask right now that leaves my skin feeling fab.
And honey, if wanting to flip fuck with Jair is wrong, I don't wanna be right.

  4. Big says,
Teenage acne is the worst. Our parents refused to pay for the prescription treatment that was available. Consequently, my brother and I both have the scars to prove it. Maybe that's why my skin care routine is soap and water and then lotion. Botox? Nope. At one point is was considered for my form of M.D. Thank the goddess my doctor was aware that Botox can be fatal when introduced to someone with M.D. Whew....dodged that bullet.

    1. Oh, it was terrible.
I was ver self-conscious about it. And pity your parents were not... parenting! Ugh.
      And Botox for M.D.??? Whoa.

Yeah...it was thought Botox would stop the muscle spasms which can be *****extremely painful*****. Instead, it stopped a few hearts. Yikes.

  5. Naw. I use an all-natural soap - Heaven Scent Soap - here in Minneapolis - for both shower and shaving. The oils in the soap do a great job of protecting the skin from chafing, I use a regular razor. They smell great, too. I've relaxed my routine a lot. Morning is brush teeth with mouthwash (with alcohol - why would you use something without?) and hot water on my face. Then, after coffee, when getting ready for the day it's an all-out-attack. I find that terry cloth is an excellent exfoliator. For my day face, after shaving and showering, I put on this lovely lavender lotion from Plantlife. It's all natural and I adore it. A bit of powder on butt crack and that's it. I plan on aging naturally and loving all my wrinkles and flaws. They add character and quite frankly? I've earned them. Kizzes.

Ya gotta use skin moisturizer on your body to keep your skin from getting dry and in later life to keep from getting crepe parchment skin like a damned mummy.

  9. I use a lot of CeraVe products. And others. I do spend a bit of time on my skin. I don’t look 34.
