Oh, Jaxon

Throughout his childhood, Willard felt pressured to remain in a societally imposed heteronormative box. Yet, the relentless pursuit of his craft & understanding of his individuality broadened his perspective on people, life, and art – turning adversity into a foundation for creativity and community. Jaxon learned that your intuition never lies – it sings through every inch of your body and every move you make.

To Jaxon, dance is more than movement – it is an unspoken language. It is the ultimate knowledge of your physical and emotional body, strengths, weaknesses, and connectivity fused into an undeniable display of the truth. What’s your truth?

Once we leave the closet, life opens up…

I don't think that many people in his position find that path early in life.

  5. Big says,
Dance IS a language. Dance tells stories. That's what ballet and interpretive dance (think Broadway) are all about: Telling a story with nothing but your body.
    And, damn! he's good.

  6. I could probably watch and dance all day long! Stories like that are great to hear aren't they? Although I'm confused what Yves Saint Laurent has to do with the video? Was that the mascara that he was using?
