Oh, Drew.. the duplex?
Drew’s home has been featured here before and I don’t seem to tire of posting his updates. He keeps impressing me. What he has done to his house is pretty cool and it’s gone hand in hand with his growth as a business person. And that, Constant Reader, is synergy.
I love his eye for detail and his aesthetic. Very Gen Z. He truly is a Digital Native.
And that glass should be transparent.

Happy Pride!
I like almost all of it, actually I love almost all of it, but man oh man his voice is annoying. I literally turned down the sound and just watched the video. Much nicer,

I really liked the whole thing.
DeleteVery creative and aesthetically pleasing. He did a great job.
And the gay voice got to you? LOL

Nice, not a lot of clutter. And I agree with Bob about his voice.
ReplyDeleteQuick!
DeleteSomeone do a wellness check on Dave.
Oh, wait. No, he's fine.

It was well done and a beautiful space to begin with, but I love how he transformed it. He does have a great aesthetic.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
DeleteThe house is fab, TBH. And should have costed a pretty penny. But he did do a great job.

Big says,
ReplyDeleteConnecting the two levels was genius. His before photos show it to be light and airy and he's turned the place into a cave. It's so dark now. It's not necessarily the paint color (that looks to be (mostly) off-white), it's the deep brown furnishings and rugs that soak up the light. I'd be so constantly depressed living in that. No wonder I'm a desert rat! 🤣

Oh, the before photos were garish.
DeleteThat blue? That kitchen? It was all very early 2000 McMansion. This is much better, more organic, even though it's a remodel.
I think the house has great light. It feels more filtered (like in the living room, where I'd change that glass for transparent glass) than the harsh glare of the before...
