Oh, Joan and Margaret...?

Ok, babes.

If you're easily offended, please don't click play.  If on the other hand, if you really enjoy brash, irreverent, bawdy and outlandish humor, feel free to click.

@margaretcho has said many, many times how close she felt to Joan Rivers and this is a perfect example of that. I found Joan totally offensive and hysterically funny. As in laughing until I got the hiccups funny. And I love Margaret. I've seen her live four times and can't wait until she goes on tour again.

So go ahead, make your day with this blast from the past.

XOXO

  1. I love that kind of humor; it isn't for everyone but I love it. The shock of it all.

  3. Joan Rivers was funny until she became bitter and mean spirited.

    1. Oh, it's something called Oldageitis. The main symptom is that there's no fucks left to give.
      I got that from WebMd.

  4. Will watch when I have more time. I love Margaret Cho and always had a love-hate relationship with Joan Rivers. An admirable and unfairly difficult career that she continued to power through. Brilliantly funny, but sometimes just too cruel for my sensibilities.

    1. Oh, you must.
Margaret is awesome. Joan was well, Joan. Very caustic at times, but always on point. Her career was not an easy one, because women were not allowed to have a point of view.

  5. Of course I would like this I've actually seen this one. My friends don't call me brash, irreverent, bawdy and outlandish for nothing. Offensive, dirty and insult comedy is generally but I like in comedy and sometimes some slapstick. Probably the reason I'd like Lisa Lampanelli so much. Of course I also like screwball comedy of the likes of Rodney Dangerfield, Jackie Gleason and such. And I adored Joan Rivers. She could get down right funny mean.

It's a classic. Insult comedy is an art (I'm looking at cha, Lady Bunny and Bianca del Rio) and I like it. Jackie Gleason was a riot.
I think Joan was awesome. She would have read Cheeto for FILTH.
