Oh, Tegan and Sara …!

Tegan and Sarah were all the rage when I was in college.
We LOVED them. We played their CDs, we sang their songs and we tried to attend their concerts. And when I say 'we' it was me and all the baby dykes (their choice of words) who used to rule the LGBTQ+ group I belonged to with an iron fist while wearing an A&F polo.

That is why when I saw this video I KNEW I had to watch it.

Also, if you have not watched Fanatical: the catfishing of Tegan and Sarah on Hulu, you're missing out. You don't need true crime podcasts when one of your fav artists have gone through something like this!

XOXO

    1. Well, they were kinda niche.
Very alternative and not really radio-friendly, so yes.

  3. They were popular for a while with the alternative music crowd. I got rid of my Hulu as part of my protest against Disney.

    1. Yes.
They played in our college station all the time, but outside of that? Very little.
And good for you! That was one of the millions of paper cuts that made them react. Fuck Disney.
