Oh, good boy…!
I used to have a Jim Verraros CD that I used to blast in my little boombox to hight heavens when I was living in Morgantown. He was one of those American Idol hopefuls in the first edition of that show and he was the first one to come out as gay. Of course, that basically fucked up his possibilities of becoming a mainstream singer (that horrible man in AI likes the gays in the closet) but I really liked him. I still do.
I actually had that haircut he has in his first album. I took my CD to the stylist to get the exact same cut. Yeah, the 'aughts. We did some of the things. He’s all grown up now and apparently living his best life.
He’s very active online and keeps putting out music in a more consistent way. Love that for him.
